new engine called frostbite

Has anyone heard of a new engine called "Frostbite" the first game to use it is bf bad company. looks good

It indeed looks good, but at first, we don't have money to buy an engine. Second, we can't mod it eather since BF:BC is the first game to use it. Third, we are happy with the Unreal Engine 3.0.
