Ok, that's good, since most of my ideas arn't really that good, especially regarding gadgets.

Public Discussion / An idea for the story/characters

So UBI don't get annoyed and sue us for copywrite stuff an idea I had for the story/characters stuff could be hostages and terrorists. The hostages manage to escape from the terrorists guarding them and then you have to sneak out of the place where you're held hostage.

Some game modes could be like extraction in PT where you have to go and find things the terrorists were sent to capture, or you could even go and pick up wounded people and get them out. Or you could hack computers to find out what the terrorists were sent to do; maybe kill/capture the terrorist boss; destroy a weapon designed to take out a whole city or something (like the nerve gas in the gas heating place in the latest season of 24 and you have to disable the nerve gas before it's released or blow the place shortly after it's released); you could do something to let the police in, like open the main gate, back door, etc; or you could open the blinds so snipers outside can shoot the terrorists, so the terrorists then have to stay down and the hostages will have an easier time of escaping; you could take photos of the terrorists and then escape and give the photos to the police; try to find a phone to call the police, maybe there are phones spread out in the map and maybe the terrorists could have phones on them as well; or you could simply try to escape.

You wouldn't have to try to hard for the missions to make sense, because the terrorists could just attack a bank and take hostages, and maybe they don't find all of the people in the bank. Then the people the terrorists don't find try to call the police, escape, etc. And the hostages wouldn't have guns, and maybe the terrorist weapons are complicated to use or something like that, stopping them from using guns. Gadgets would be about the only problem, but you could improvise and have things like rocks, cups, etc lying around for the hostages to throw as diversions. Or the terrorists are after some high tech gadgets, and the hostages are in with the gadgets when the terrorists attack and they use them against the terrorists.

To have a time limit the terrorists could plant a bomb and you either have to escape or disarm the bomb within the time limit. And if you disarm the bomb you still have to escape, and the terrorists could plant a new bomb with a lower time limit. And after 3 bombs there is an instant bomb. The terrorists would want to plant the bomb somewhere hard to find, so they might have to leave the exits to find a good place, thus temporarily leaving one less terrorist for the hostages to get past. To make it so you don't want to die the terrorists could have one bomb each, and the death of a terrorist means one less bomb. The roles could also be reversed, and the hostages have to bomb the enemy headquarters and have 10 minutes to do so before reinforcements arrive. That would make it more like Splinter Cell where the stealthy guys plant bombs and the human tanks try to find them.

Ok, I know how much everyone loved the voice-over guy in DA's multiplayer, but I don't think he says enough. I think he should also say what you're doing, eg. walking forward - walking forward - walking forward - walking forward - turning left - walking forward - walking forward - opening door - walking forward - firing grenade - jumping - getting grabbed from behind - having neck broken by spy - waiting to respawn - waiting to respawn - going into options - trying to turn off voice-over - not being able to turn off voice-over because the voice-over option isn't actually a button and it's just there for decoration - quiting game - getting annoyed because the voice-over is still there even though you've quit the game - turning off computer - turning off speakers - unplugging computer - screaming - running out of room - returning with a baseball bat - smashing computer - screaming some more... so, anyone else think that would be a good idea?
