I have a friend who performed in a contest at a local Comedy club called the Laugh Factory.  Check out the link and give him a vote. His name is Robert Rothstein, his clip is the bottom right video on the left side panel. His entire segment was over 10 minutes long, but they only have a minute sample for you to vote on. They didn't choose the best part either, but oh well.

You can actually vote once a day until the 29th of this month. I don't expect anyone do that though. So check it out and give him a vote. Or not. Whatever.

But if he wins I can get him off my back and might be able to get back to working on PS... so... no ultimatum here or anything :P

General / Off-Topic / Dirt2

I've been trying to give away a steam copy of Dirt2 for a few days now. Can't believe how hard it is to give away a free game. Anyway, if someone wants it, reply here. Don't be a dick, if you truly don't want it or already have it don't reply.

First person I see that replies with something more creative then "I want it." gets it.

Reading around the net I've seen a lot of game sites publishing there game of the year awards and was just wondering what the opinion of the PS community is.

Mine are:

PS3 GOTY: Uncharted 2
Xbox360 GOTY: Street Fighter IV
Wii GOTY: New Super Mario Bros Wii
DS GOTY: Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
PC GOTY: Dragon Age: Origins

Overall GOTY: Street Fighter IV

Personally I think Modern Warfare 2 is winning way more then it should be. It's the most overrated game of the decade, let alone of the year.

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but there will be no beta released at the end of August. I'm not going to get into it here, but just know the press release is wrong and at the most, we will be hitting a non-multiplayer alpha by the end of august that WILL NOT be released to the public. I can't give you an ETA on when a Beta will happen, so don't ask.

Here is the game I'm working on, comming out soon for the xbox360/Ps3/pc... It's the where most of my time goes and the main reason I can't pump as much time into PS as I want. This is a video from G4tv.com. They will have it on the air monday, but for now you can check out a web exclusive.

G4Tv.com Exclusive web video:

Monday they should show some new footage and creatures...

Tell me what you like and/or dislike. I'll be able to pass this on to our producers and you MAY make a differance :P...

October 12, 2007, 07:58:31 PM
When I get home for lunch, I'm going to start downloading it. Hopefully I can play it before I have to come back. Everyone should check it out if possible. Since it is the game this MOD will be made with.

So like yeah. I have a AS in computer animation, two years of creating fun, balanced Chaos Theory Maps. Right now I'm a Environmental Artist at Spark Unlimited where we are working on a xbox360/ps3 game using the Unreal Engine 3.

And like I said in the initial conversation when we started, it would be best to have Leads for differant departments. IE Lead Level Artist, Lead Level Desiner, Leave Props . . . so on.

And of course I think I would be best used as Lead Environment Artist/Level Designer. Since you know, I work for a proffesional game developer and can use what I learn there to better the project.

oh  and then i have my crappy little site:
