On what positions in Google for query 'stealth action multiplayer' you could see Project Stealth entries, Meister_Neo? I couldn't check it myself well cos my country is not English speaking thus Google wouldn't show me details actual for English speaking people.

I repeat: "Remastered Stealth Action Multiplayer", please!
I've got your point - http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth

Don't you think that we spam word 'stealth' in two nearby rows?
Also the questions is stand still:

Why the game is belongs to stealth genre is not written.
Why the game stealth features is good is not written.
What is stealth (it could happens that reader is total noob) is not written.

Random player after checking first sentence should just believe writer that proposed game is cool cos word 'stealth' was used in title and in the name of the game?

Project Stealth game belongs to stealth genre cos word 'stealth' was used in the game name?
The same goes for term 'Remastered':
Why dev team decided to remaster?
From what it was remastered?
How it was remastered?
What results were archived?

The whole appearance of having such Page Heading and Article Title

is such that two ambitious expressions are used.
One is 'Remastered ...' and second is 'Project Stealth'.

Why it's not enough to use one ambitious thing?
Expression 'Project Stealth' looks enough cool to start with it alone.

Currently we can't pretend to beat those 20.000 Indies with our outstanding gameplay, but we're pretending to use TWO ambitious expressions? Without wise elaborating each of them?

Again my bad. Now I did my homework - recheck about what I am talking about - look here
http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth

This is how Page Heading is looking. It goes before Article Title.

Now tell me please how much hearts your tactical-, stealth- or even any-synonyms-of-reborn-addicted feelings proposed by me Page Heading?
Take a look on this web page again.
Is it a too big problem really?

Under what title PS should be promoted on game sites is a slightly different question. Sometimes 'tactical' could be used, sometimes 'action' and sometimes 'stealth' with much success. Promoter should choose right title for specific game site and for specific game community.

And it doesn't matter what web site is talking about Project Stealth: official, facebook page, fan page or forum thread.

Players should clearly get why Project Stealth is Tactical (for example) game and why it's tactical features is better then in another games.

The same goes when title Stealth is used. From IndieDB PS page: "Project Stealth is a game based on Stealth Action Multiplayer (SAM) game play."

I hope Frvge could backup chosen title with nicely composed article.

What good is it to use a tag that is searched for by 2000 people, when there are 20.000 games of that category?
Any new game could be popular because some time at the begging it will be a fresh new game. Of course it's up to developers to decide how aggressive advertising tactic they will use. All that we can do is to see what they will do and by doing so understand what people they are.

Hmz, that could also work. I'm still unsure that the best one is. At first I thought "Tactical", but based on your comment, I'm now not sure anymore. haha.
Could you announce pro and contra for the "Tactical" choice? To what reasons it could be good idea to put label "Tactical"? To what reasons it could be not?

Previously I explained my point wisely. You could see why my variant could be good for promoting. Tell me, please, why my proposal could be not good.

I understand that some posts here are meant to be fun, but overall this thread should provide solution for an important task.

Can't understand why the almost only reason for the posters is 'neatly'.

Also why members do not want to critique points of each other? Is this unacceptable somehow?
I'm officially proclaim that beating crap of my proposal is fairly acceptable. Doing this is acceptable for me and will not grow in any kind of forum flame war. Do this and thank you for your time.

Hah! My suggestion then will be "Action Stealth Shooter" which could provide another one cool abbreviation for the game genre :D

I can't imagine shooter which couldn't be counted as action  :-\

1. Extensive advertising at the very begging will make further promoting easier. Advertiser would have prepared places there and there...
2. Our community Always needs more members.
3. Alpha/beta releases have some strong sides for players comparing with the fixed releases. Discovering and using exploits is an important and useful part in project life.

'Action' was proposed by me cos wherever I could check Frvge always use term SAM (Stealth Action Multiplayer). Also google register some activity each month for 'action online' (1300).

Project Stealth is not online strategy. So it belongs to action type of online games.

Stealth multiplayer games overall are not always perfect done and promoted. That is why we have only 170 hits each month for the search query 'stealth online'.

And there are already elements of action in PS: fast moving, shooting, Prince of Persia movement.

From advertising point it's better to say: "We have an action game! With elements of stealth!" Here 'action' goes before 'stealth'. Reader and Google firstly will see 'action' (everyone like 'action') and then read about gameplay in-depth details (about 'stealth' etc). Thus the firstly highlighted word will be catchable 'action'.

Future veteran is a kid from CoD circles. Also he should be pwned by other veterans in past.

We could allow kids discover stealth multiplayer genre. And they could be catched by feel-a-spy emotion as we were in past.

We couldn't scare veterans. Game title itself will tell everyone that fuss is about stealth.

Keyword planner in Google Adwords shows these statistic results about search queries (Keyword->Avg. monthly searches):

multiplayer online            2900
online multiplayer            2400
reborn online                  1900
action online                  1300
stealth online                  170
tactical online                  70
action multiplayer            20
stealth multiplayer            20
tactical multiplayer            10
tactical stealth                  10
asymmetrical multiplayer  0
stealth action multiplayer   0

Everyone could register own google adwords account and make some research btw.

You guys already have the best multiplayer online indie project. And who cares that there were and are another online multiplayer games? We still have the best stuff here! It doesn't matter also what genre PS has. It's still the best multiplayer online game anyway.

Let people land with the help of search engines on www.projectstealthgame.com where the text title could fit the most popular query - multiplayer online (2900). It could be like this:
Multiplayer Online Action - Project Stealth Game.
As you can see 'multiplayer online' words here placed at the same start of text phrase. The more close to the start of text hot query word is used - the more popular could be web page in search engines.

inb4 WTaFa takes three posts to ask for more information for his wiki page.
Thank you for the friendly punch :) but I still have unused concept from Meister_Neo. New Year Holidays, some work in RL and New Year release of the next version for the first ever stealth online multiplayer game slowed me a bit with our Project Stealth game wiki project.

Also, VenomousNinja, you misunderstood my role here a bit. Yes, I asked community here for the commands. But I won't repeat my request any more. I'm here to execute commands that PS community will decide to give for me (this thread). If Project Stealth community is strong enough or will become more stronger later, PS wiki will become more better with the help of forum members. Thus wiki i.e. Project Stealth could attract more newbies in future over the Internet.

No problem, Frvge. It's very interesting answer I must admit. It makes Project shining even brighter.

.... 6 years later...
Sounds like 6 years later (in 2019) you could and will have own Stealth Online Multiplayer project.

You registered on forum in 2008, Roberto1223. Maybe during last 5 years you already worked on own interesting things? Come on, don't hide from public. Show something: screenshot or trailer, ple-e-ease!  ;)

... we've switched to Unreal Engine 4...
Just one question. How did you get UE4?
QuoteIt's not that simple.

1. You'll need to contact the company in charge of Unreal Engine 4. You can do that here: http://www.unrealengine.com/en/licensing...

2. If you don't want to spend money on licensing and all that, you can check out the Free Game Engine for Indie Game Developers here: http://www.unrealengine.com/udk/
What method did you use?

These reasons almost make the wiki idea more ridiculous, to be honest.
Everyone should be honest.  Could you expand your point more wisely?

whats  the point, when there is a wiki already made found here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Stealth   ?
http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth is not official web site, but still pretend to have more up-to-date information then http://www.projectstealthgame.com
Overall http://www.thief-haven.com is about Stealth genre in Online Multiplayer.
So how could be called pages about Project Stealth which were placed here - http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth ? 'wiki' still the best word. Propose another if you have.

Also I have plans to submit to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Stealth some information from http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth .

AgentX_003, you saw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Stealth.

Could you also check http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth ?

How do you think what portion of information could be submitted to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Stealth?

The game essentially just got delayed again, and we're trying to put up a wiki?
The answer was already given in the first post:

Another call for you, gents and lads, will be invite to unofficial PR team for PS.

  • Together we could keep Project Stealth wiki in effective up-to-date status. For sure such efforts could be presented to numerous web sites for gamers and gamedevs over the Internet.
  • Also you could submit own articles to Project Stealth wiki. Then recommend added content with the help of social bookmarking or game forums.

Still the best option is to add your review to the web site specialized in game industry.
Also check another pages in wiki. For example http://www.thief-haven.com/project-stealth/developer-team:
QuoteYes, we had sometimes a problem in allocation.

People either were just too busy, other people lack willingness/motivation.

That's the reason why we looked for new talents constantly.
So we should bring more attention to the Project cos new calls (UE4) were met.

I would not call mercs "slow". It makes them look weak. And depending on the map, they were not even slow. Rather "inflexible", while Spies are flexible, as they are able to move in the 3rd dimension.

Spies are weak but flexible, Mercs are strong but inflexible. It is not speed vs strength, but rather agility vs strength.
Thank you for the tip, Meister_Neo! I used your advice. But I have an additional question. Spies are athletic as we know. 'Athletic' is not equal to 'strong'?
