Render looks so shiny for me, I would even say that's kinda ugly - especially rifle.

How about a "risk kill"? If the spy tries to attack the merc from behind with a knife, he gets a "silent charge", that, once started, cannot be stopped, and if it's succesful, then its a fast instant kill, so he doesn't have to worry about HS from the other merc.
HOWEVER if the merc turns around in time, there will be an animation, where the merc blocks the stab, takes the knive, and kills the spy instead.
That way it's a "all or nothing"-move. I guess it could make the games more interesting.

I wonder about sounds in PS. We have heard some soundtracks but how it's going with level/characters sound ?:P
Nades still sounds like chinesse toys?^^
We have some sounds, but those haven't been updated in a while.
Lakehouse has had an initial sound pass by Zedblade, but he's not a real expert on it, so it still needs to be improved.
The sound designer doesn't have Windows so he can't use UDK tho :(.
Level sound is currently not one of the top priorities. Character sounds (reloading, shooting etc) are.

Although, couple of suggestions:
1. KO Animation.
2. Please do not make it similiar to SCCT, because the elbow hit is just pathetically unreal.
3. The current kill animation doesn't seem very legit, as in, it doesn't seem like that would actually kill the mercenary?
4. Suggestion to instead of focusing on neck snap, make it a back breaker?
5. Rifle holding in his hand, does not have a strap, I would suggest it, because a lot of the times, such grabs in real life, especially un-expected ones, will cause the human to drop his gun.

What of adding a strap on a rifle? It's just a cloth model...
Then the Merc has to be able to get it again if he's saved because his partner. Making the gun hang is not the biggest problem, although it's not that easy, getting the gun back in his hands is.
Then just keep it in hand, but still have the strap, physics wise, it is still a support.
This strap should be a central game mechanic.
