OH and please add some ambient noise because the lack of sound on the original was a dead give away to any spy movements, especially for EAX users.

I enjoyed the original Rocamadour in many games.  It did feel a bit unbalanced but it was not more unbalanced than many of the stock maps that come with ct.  I hope you can balance it out a bit more.  The atmosphere looks nice.  I'm glad you decided to remake it for PS.

@Robert (Dreadstunlock)...

Thanks for making this hater thread.  Probably makes my site a little more popular.

Whoes site is that?

If it is from any of the members here, please add a link to Project Stealth rather than just naming it ;)

Good point Lennard.  Not sure why I didn't do that to begin with.  Fixed it.

Thanks.

I'd like to see you register Cronky.  The more the merrier.

Regardless of whether or not the remaining community has to live on Tunngle or on ubi servers, I hope that you all find this site useful for arranging good games...

If you're interested, register.

Peace.

If you're a player who is still down with CT but you've had trouble finding good games on ubi.com or on Tunngle, look no further.

Visit http://scctsurvivors.webs.com/ and register for membership so that you can schedule games with your friends and other skilled players.

The community of the site will be limited to skilled players with a good attitude and perhaps some less skilled players that show potential for improvement. I am the site creator (which I just made last weekend) and anyone can register.  It only takes 1 minute. New members will start off as limited members (the only limitation is that they can't make new calendar events) unless they contact me and I upgrade to full member status.

If the servers shut down once and for all, it will be even more difficult to keep the community going, so I hope that this website is helpful for arranging games amongst those of us that still enjoy a few GGs once and a while.

Oh, and a shout out to Pusianka who made an Xfire group with the same name as the site. I was inspired by you buddy.

Public Discussion / Re: Anyone still playing SCCT?
November 10, 2010, 05:25:54 AM
You didn't even mention me Knooger and you're my m8... wtf... I've played longer than you even on PC not to mention my years of playing on PT etc on xbox.  I think I've played with sunshine but I can't remember.

I know you don't consider me your m8 cuz you played more with that eCotySa but still...

Plus a lot of ppl wouldn't be playing CT if I didn't convince them to come back (ie. you, blackveldt, malent, etc...) and arrange games regularly.

Anyway... wake up at 6am for ggs noob.

Anyone looking for GGS should add me on Xfire "kingwebs".  I don't play as much I used to but I'm still around.

General / Off-Topic / Re: Community Map Pack Steam
October 18, 2010, 10:11:33 PM
Try downloading the pack again... sometimes filefront causes ppl have hiccups during the download process that cause you to get a useless file.  It's happened to me personally once or twice.

I pulled together the map collection and Malent did most of the work when he made the installer.  We debated and planned on what to include and exclude.  The maps that we included all contain something of value.  They are not all the most balanced and playable maps but they will at least have some cool features that a true CT fan would appreciate exploring.  Despite what many people may think on their first 10 plays through of a new map, it's the extended experiences that are required to open your eyes to the game play possibilities on a map.  So you really have to keep an open mind when you're trying to determine if a map is balanced.  Playing a new map requires patience during exploration and some creativity to think about tactics (hence the reason for Agent having a problem grasping the quality of the maps).

If you read the description Malent wrote when he posted the map pack on the legacy CT forum (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3651075192/m/4451091748/p/1) you'll see that we mentioned that some maps are not perfect.  Imperfection doesn't mean they aren't still very cool.  Some of them are favorites amongst me and my friends so we wanted to share them with the community.  Simple as that.

We're thrilled that there's been over 900 downloads so far between the regular and steam versions combined.  We are a little disappointed with the number of people that actually try to experiment with the maps.  Aqua, Club, and Museum haven't become boring to you yet!?!?!  I still play classic maps but I really appreciate variety and I hope you all do the same.
