If you take an art painter and describe his work, there's a difference between: "he put a red line here, and then a black line there" and a description of WHY he chose to put those lines there. The actual lines are a by-product of his artistic feelings/expression/impression.
However, if you feel like being lost in easy consumerism, that's fine too. Deeping or more abstract meanings aren't for everyone to appreciate. Some people just like it fast and easy to consume.
