Eyegasm indeed 8). But i doubt PS will look like this when ready. And dont forget the hardware this would need!
But was this just a showcase or is this a real game in development?

It's mostly the shader system. Should be possible, but I don't know we've worked with the "physically accurate" material system yet.

The graphic should not be pushed to high to make it run on as much machines as possible.
Of course it would be nice if the graphics settings would range from low pc to high end if it doesnt effect the gameplay like visual bugs that could give someone an unfair advantage etc.
