hehe playtesting will determine if that'll be the case. We can always remove the 'new' effect if it's unbalanced.

Awww, why would it be unbalanced?  I suggest just not making big huge EMF triggering things in places that it could be unbalanced in lmao.  That's a mouthful.

Looks great, watching the vid now ... btw papa the screen shot is the new "Club House" so i guess you could call that a mansion and one would also assume you can walk on what you call "the small ledge" if its anything like club.

EDIT: the video is upside down for me :(
flipping my display ...

I was disappointed when the video didn't consist of Frvge, Kebab and Mr Mic commentating and disparately trying to get a laugh by making crap corny jokes, I though you guys were gonna be cool like bungie! I think you should watch some of their painful vidLogs, the corn levels rise so high I actually get embarrassed for the guys talking at some stage in those videos  :-X

So i rotated my display 180, and now its mirrored  :'(

any help would be great so i can watch this.  I'm using windows vista and I believe I have the newest ATI mobility drivers.  The card is an ATI mobility X1600.

Also using Vista and the video won't even show up, just got those gay little screensaver things going.  So, guess I'll watch it on Moddb, just realized I could do that  :D I feel stupid...

The screens and vid gave me a unexpected OMFG feeling. Cant wait to see some MT footage. The clubhouse screen looks soooo sweet!

i have no doubt at all, it's clearly way more balanced than ct's emf. this is exactly one of the many little things that can (and hopefully will) make ps great, eg. conserving/building on the core gameplay, but adding something fresh that also improves balance.

just so you know guys....gamma hacks with vid drivers dont even work in CT.  it merely ups the contrast.

I would like to have seen one of the spies moving without any electric device on, but the merc in EMF for the exact purpose of trying to see the ghosting shadow. Very cool that if hes completely still hes invisible.

There would be no point. A spy is really invisible under EMF. There is zero color information change and no amount of movement or gamma-correction will change that.

Thats the greatest news in the world.

That still gives an advantage - not 100% über-sight, but an advantage. I've tried.

If you are still having issues try downloading and installing the Combined Community Codec Pack here http://www.cccp-project.net/
