Lennard as already posted about me in the dev section along with my work and i stated i would get with him on my answer today, so here it is :-) i have both 3d max and maya 2008. not to keen on maya yet (so animations would come a lil slow due to not much knowledge the UI and haveing to get use to the controls) but it'll be done non the less.

for those that just want to see what i do

http://www.youtube.com/user/Wolf103085 a couple samples.

Wolf is a animator/rigger with 6 years of experience, and he has made animations for the retail edition of Red Orchestra, the DBZ mod for HL and a Crysis mod.

He is known with the SvM gameplay and has played it for some time, when I asked him if he would like to apply for 'the job', he replied with: "well i must admit it does appeal to me and arouses my curiosity".

We're working on it ;)

Generally an internal voting process takes a day or 2.

Hi Wolf....as you know already,  we are using Maya 2008 for animation.  You would be given a fully rigged character,  so you would only need to concentrate on animation.

Things about Maya you would need to know how to use:  Graph Editor,  Time Line,  Channel Box, Attribute Editor.  You would not have to mess with the majority of the toolsets nor would you worry about control rigs.

For animation, Maya is pretty good....and we are flexible enough that you can change the control rig at any time for any animation.

Wolf

alright, i've worked with maya before years ago, but not extensive enough to remember most of it hehe, so now its mostly just a refresher course atm.

Heh wolf,  I dont doubt your going to get on the project,  but you wont be able to start in the next few days anyways because the character is getting re-rigged.

Wolf

I'm fairly certain that you'll be in. Gotta await a few more votes, but it looks promising. ;)
