What money would do is allow us to work full time on the project instead of on weekends.

i sure a million dollars....or even 500,000 dollars which change a lot of peoples minds.
500000 dollars... that's like 100 euros right?  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Hahaha :P I'd rather get 10 million euro instead of dollars in case we win. I think it's time for the so-called "Vreemde Valuta-rekening" literally (and probably not economly correct) "Strange Valuta-Account".

Well basicly, when companies here in the Netherlands work oversees, the employees oversees would like to be payed in their own valuta (eg. the dollar). Due to the low currency of the dollar against the euro, it would be extremely stupid (for example for Philips) to convert the dollars to euro's (because you will lose a lot of money with that). In that case, companies open an oversees bank account (in dutch we call that a "Vreemde Valuta-Rekening"), so that they can keep their dollars on that account and wait till the right time to convert it to euros. They also pay their oversee employees from that account.

Good thing the pound it's currency went back, before you know it we own both the pound and the dollar!!! Which is not good for our competitive position (in layman's terms, Europe will be relativly expensive and our export of products and services will drop, though, importing will rise. Eather way, it's bad :P).

And that's what so bad about it - study economics and you'll understand. It's awesome if you know how it all works!

Eh, right.... (don't mention him, he must have drank too much or something).

what is more interesting is that the plummet of the US dollar is quite deliberate and desired by the US.  They want this because now american products are cheaper to buy, which will encourage export over import.  For the longest time america has always been importing more then exporting.
