Agent, I know and that's why I mentioned tactics. You have to know when a merc will beserk, and this is the case whether your playing Story or Deathmatch. If a merc sees you head on, retreat and try again when he's vunerable, even a skilled Deathmatch player should know that.

DM has no Berserk in CT.

Been waiting for some1 to finally say this. Berserk can be countered by a spy tricking the merc (jump straight up instead of towards him, then jump him) or a spy saving his knocked down friends life. It is VERY necessary when there are 2 spies there, and if both get too close...thats to bad now isn't it. Bersekr is not overpowering at all. It has its balance of slowing down the merc for enough time to get a neck. Its already been discussed....to death....

If anything I found berserk to be underpowered. Most of the time when I berserk I get myself killed due to the slowdown after a berserk that just screams "Grab me". Which I why I stopped using it in the xbox version. It's not quite so bad at PC because you can turn faster. but on Xbox, if you miss with a berserk, you're hosed.

Though in no circumstances did I find berserk overpowered.

If anything merc charge is the uber move, not berserk. Berserk seriously kind of sucks.

Gawain

it sucks that much that i use it approximately once every two games, and most of the time against being jumped on the head XD
