new spy gadget idea YAY

ok, so everyone knows the classic gadgets, Sticky cam, smoke, flash and chaff nades, alarm snare ect. but maybe think of one outside the box. So hear me out here, Spies are Stealthy, and by stealth that means non-leathality (only if necessary) so a new somewhat lethal gadget could be in order, because all gadgets are uysually non-lethal, of course there would have to be some sort of limit like 2 per spy, or something, but kinda jack the Airfoil round idea for a quick knockout instead of the lengthy sticky cam(and just pray he's not using a gas mask), but if shot at the body, kinda a knock back technique and interrupts actions, headshot (with ironsight idea) could incapacitate him quickly, maybe for 3-4 sec. enough to make your move. I think it could be useful, maybe add a little bit of damage to the shot also, minimal, but enough to get the job done.

well, I dunno if u were plain on doin the energy bar thing like in CT with your shocker gun, but the point would be for a quick incapacition if shot to the head, know what i mean? im sure u could shock them but the Air foil round gives them something more to play with, add a lil bit of lethality to the spies arsenal

i dont think a knockout would be good cause it would be too cheap. but maybe a blackout and disorientation.

Hmmm... what about as an alternate ammunition for the sticky shocker?  A shot to the head would cause massive loss of vision, while a body shot would just make the player lose control of the merc and would stumble backwards a good 5-10 feet.

Maybe the headshot would also include the body-effects.  Just brainstorming here. 

I think this is getting way too deep into the should-be-simple sticky shocker, though. :-\

lets add more functions to sticky cams lets add like an integrated alarm snare that can be toggled on or off  (like in single player)

and maybe like the ability to create a camnet of spycams. idk

second idea- yes. 

However, those should be separate gadgets (network cams =/= stickies).

Why no to the first idea? You seemed to like it when it had the same functionality, just in an alarm snare. The ability to toggle it on and off remotely. I still really like it.

Then if this idea isn't pass, you must give the spies a machine gun so that the merc can die for 3-4 seconds, nothing too long, but it gives the spies some time to hack. I think this would work because spies can now shoot mercs.

Sticky cams and snares are already great gadgets by themselves.  No need to make a super gadget that everyone will take every single round. 

I have no problem with adding a different gadget (network cams) for ultimate surveillance for spies - but for that purpose only.  No ultimate surveillance gadget/ultimate incapacitating gadget/ultimate sound reticule triggering gadget, you know?  It's just too much for 1 gadget.  I think that each gadget is supposed to have its own unique use, not 2-3-or more.

well its not really a "super gadget" its just the original gadget because thats how it was in the single player at first. sticky cam had like a noise maker in it.

Why not make the Alarm Snare a buff then? If you select it in the lobby it adds alarm snare functionality to your Camera, but still takes up a slot like normal.

Dude, that was single player.  The gadgets weren't supposed to be completely balanced for both Sam and the NPC's.  They were supposed to PWN the guards every time you use one.  In MP, it's different. 

Super gadgets like the one you're suggesting shouldn't be welcome in a game mode where picking your gadgets should be a bit harder and tactical.  Taking a combo of a snare, network cam, and sticky cam is a no brainer.  Right?  Who would not take it?
