Let me rephrase: I think it deserves a test in playtesting. It hasnt been approved by Mic who does the Visual Effects.

Because EMF stands for Electro-magnetic something (force?), and it works by searching for magnetic fields, and displaying them on screen. Chaff is a big cloud of magnets, therefore it should make it impossible to see though via EMF.
