   Finding the Sea Slug
Speaker    Bridgette Tenenbaum
Level    Neptune's Bounty

" I saw one of the smugglers having a game of catching on the docks today. And this surprised me, because his hands were crippled during the war. He was unloading the barge the other day when he was bitten from this sea slug. He woke up the next morning and he found he could move his fingers for the first time in years. I asked him if he still had that sea slug. As luck would have it, he did..."

Location: On a table in the Upper Wharf by the stairwell entrance.

Adam is the genetic material used to create Plasmids and the like and all of Raptures Biotechnologies, the slugs produced a little amount of it but Tenenbaum and Dr whateverhisnameis found that by surgically attaching the slugs to a host's stomach (it worked best on young girls) the slug would produce almost 20 times as much adam. The lil' sisters were originally going to be in a vegetive state but it was found they had to be active for it to work, but that put them in danger from the splicers (hence the need for big daddies). When you Save a little sister you are using a plasmid which Tenenbaum created after being overwhelmed by guilt which kills the parasite, if you havest them you're essentially ripping the Leech out of the girls stomach (but they obviously don't show that for rating reasons.)

Oh.  You know I try to find all these diaries but I always miss some.  There's WAY TOO MUCH!  lol

Up till now I always saved the Little Sisters and I plan to save all.
I'm now starting in Arcadia. Around which percentage of the game is that? 40%?

But they didn't choose to be Little Sisters! You can't just KILL them. Also, this game probably features the best story/plot-twists and atmosphere i've ever seene in a game before. I hope Bioshock 2 just gets rid of the somewhat repetitive splicers-in-every-room bit. You kind know what to expect after a certain point.

Frolic was awesome! The "statues" scared the shite outta me :P

Also, the good ending is FARR better than the submarine ones.

ANND, on normal mode the splicers became sponges toward the end, really quickly. One minute a few shots would do and the next they took a few rounds! I also had very little money, ADAM and EVE towards the end. Thank god for Ryan's genetic code. ;D
if you think it's that good, then you must play System Shock 2, and both of the STALKERs. Both are seriously superior in almost everyway Especially stalker, but system shock 2 is rather old, but it's the precursor to BioShock, and bioshock is pretty much SS2 with a lot of stuff taken out, and then noobed down for the console masses

I'm now back at Olympus Heights. Still enjoyed my second replay.

Finished the game with the good ending. :D Nice game, definately the best style/mood of all the games I've played (includes Splinter Cell). I think the feeling is a bit the same as with Prey. But Bioshock is better.

I played Bioshock all the way through and it was a great game. I saved all the sisters too as I think it works out you get more Adam in the long run but not sure. I am going through it again and harvesting this time, see what happens.

I played the first STALKER and didn't think much of it. Too much RPG in it for my tastse but some may like that aspect. The graphics were very nice but too much walking with no action in it for me.

Well it made me lol.

BTW, they say on forums that the protagonist's name is Jack. I can't find any reference to this name. Am I missing something here?
