Hi all,

If you'd like to support Project Stealth in getting some more attention from fellow gamers and mod-players, please head over to http://www.moddb.com/mods/project-stealth/ , scroll down a bit, and vote. The Top-100 for the second round will be announced in about 15 days, so get going :P

Thank you and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,

The Project Stealth Team

And what would you get if you win that vote? And would that be useful for you?

frvge

Well, this is just the nomination round.
If we get a good position, that means extra publicity, with a chance of prizes in cash and hardware.
But what matters most is the publicity. We could use some more good artists :).

Many categories are about Mods in development, so it's definately NOT just for Mods that have been released or which are close to being released.

Note that we are an indie now, not a mod. Please update the page. Unless you count it as "mod" for UDK, which means you're just fooling yourself.

With indie I think more about a team that really works as if it were a small business (so 4 hours per day, after normal work). But that's probably semantics. We'll discuss that internally.

Indies have their own categories as far as I know, so you can still just nominate us :).

That's BS, if I were to make a game on say XNA and really want to distribute it, it would count as an indie, why would PS differ from that? If it were to be made by Activision, it's a AAA shipped-title.

Indeed.

We didn't get in the top-100 this year, but 2010 will hopefully be the game in which we can get a top-100 position in the Released category :).

Yeah...and the key word here is ***Released***

Hopefully the maps after Lakehouse can be made faster because most things will already be in place and easy to work with.  Any hints for the upcoming maps?  We should make a thread for map suggestions which could be helpful.

The best way is to download UDK and watch tutorials. Then you can make your own maps. It's not hard to get the basics. Mastering it is another thing.

Hopefully after release, more than one person will be motivated to actually work on making maps.

It's quite silly to have like 5 maps and no game. Waste of manpower, IMO.

Yeah I agree with that.  I would try to make some but I have no time.
