I have a couple questions that may seem quite simple.  I am new to the site and am trying to find out some more information that I could not find.  (I am a huge fan of SCCT who is thrilled to discover PS as the future of versus)

1.  How many gun options are there for merc?  I personally think that the shotgun and uzi are not so great and should be avoided unless they are modified.

2.  How many maps are going to be created before the game is released?  I understand the complexity of making maps, and quality is better than quantity.  I'm hoping for at least 5 to keep the game interesting.  Have you started making any maps other than Lakehouse yet? (It looks really good so far)

O yeah sorry I missed that part, but 2 of my questions still apply.

For the guns, I think the plan is to have uzi and shotgun in, but so far none of them have been modelled. The code is being prepared for them, but it's not sure we're going to use them.

We have some map ideas, but most never got further than some rough sketches. For now, we're focusing on Lakehouse which, as I said before, needs some more work done because the transition from UT3 to UDK messed up terrain and skyboxes. It'll get a new lighting pass and some more new things will be added. But Zedblade is only going to start that like this week, so even I don't know the currentdetails. :P

Ok, cool.  Thanks for the info!  Yeah, the uzi and shotgun would be fine as long as they are more balanced than in SCCT.  An airport style map would be cool with a computer at the check in and at the security, a bomb in a plane connected to a terminal, and a disk in the air traffic control tower or something like that.  Then there could be conveyor belts for the spies to navigate along with vents, ropes, and underground walking passages.  I don't know, it's just a thought but keep it in mind for your next sketch. :)  Thanks again.

uzi and shotgun will be readjusted.

Uzi will probably not be as accurate, and shotgun won't be "random-mode" like it is in CT.
