Second last chapter of Hard Rain versus = the worst thing ever. The entire survivor team could be afk and they'd still win. Why'd they have to make the water do nothing?

it was only meant for a slow down effect. It is essentially like every 4th map from L4D1....a rush map.

I'm not complaining about it being a rushing map, I'm complaining about how they edited it for versus. There's that route over the top of the houses that's completely pointless because it's faster to just stick on the ground. S'dumb.

The hotel map impressed me aswell. The way the building was actually crumbling around you was impressive. The door which, when you open it, you hear the air rushing in and then the fire sprays out onto the floor? Awesome!

Not too fond of the parish so far. Didn't get a chance to complete it though.

I just wish there weren't so many day maps. It's annoying.

I noticed aswell. Some of the campaigns are just dull. Nothing really exciting going on at all. Hard Rain was definitely a top moment for me so far, the way the weather scares you to shit lol

I bought l4d2 for 30 bucks on black friday. Finished the the carnival, the parrish, hard rain, and the one with the burning hotel you start in. Forgot the name. What is the other one? I haven't gotten around to playing the crap out of it yet. How is the other campaign?

Still not completed a campaign outside of versus yet. I refuse to play below expert realism... not kidding. I enjoy the immense difficulty. :D

It's basically like Valve decided that since they'd just made the spitter and the jockey and they were all new and special, they should make a map where they'd be totally useless. Huge open areas with no way to attack. Makes spawning a pain too.

On the plus side once the enemy tank spawned on the wrong side of the river in the first map. That was pretty cool.
