First of all you guys have amazing power to go off the topic. I suggest frvg(if i made mistake im really sorry frvg) that you place this whole thing in general\off topic it would be more appropriate. The lvl of the conversation is going down.

Second thing: I hope you guys(dev team) don't get demotivated while reading such discussions. Both sides are stressed or impatient. I ask you for understandin(that's to dev team and you people). I liked the post where someone said that todo list has a lot of green marks. That means you guys push the whole thing forward and that's great. Though you could show some new media. Becuase honestly until march I was pretty sure that project is DEAD. I'm glad after all, that you guys kept working and sooner or later we'll have our beloved mod.

I get the impression that a lot of the stuff they are working on isn't very exciting to us.  By that I mean they are getting stuff that isn't very visual out of the way.  Coding, scripting, etc.  This is what I've seen on the twitter page.  Not saying that the coding isn't great work or important, I'm just saying that people like to see visual progress and if it's not ready for that then fine.  I'm sure there is some stuff that we could actually see and appreciate, like the cool animations that commicserg has been working on.

Obviously the developers need to put the twitter thing or some new vids/screenshots directly onto the main website.  Why?  A lot of people that I talk to think that the project is dead because they only check the main site and see no glaringly obvious additions.

We're working on that. We have some new stuff, but it's not ready enough for showing. I'm not going to say it will be 'soon', because I hate being vague like that. Just wait and see.

If we had as much done as them we'd probably do that too.

Actually most of the content there is under the 'fold' for 1024x768 users. It then barely shows more lines of text than our homepage. The content itself is IMO too long. 3 summaries with little pictures would be better.

That's understandable.  That's why I voted for the 'few media updates' on that one poll.  When I'm doing a project I don't show what I'm doing every step of the way, but then again, I don't have a bunch of people that are so curious about my project.   :D

Cronky

I'm sure something Epic just happened...

I just don't know what.
If you haven't noticed, I'm REALLY good at making a simple response into a wall of text.

So, what is your project, actually? I vote for a fanbase of FarleyFan's project!

there is also a main advertisement page aka www.naturalselection2.com which does exactly that ;)
