Lol close up battles consist of both players jamming the "KILL" button until one person randomly gets the kill.  Yay random.  Don't ya know random things are the best things for competitive multiplayer?

Mulle, when I said it was just like coop, I mean they obviously put NO WORK AT ALL into developing the face off mode whatsoever.  They took coop, added some CQC moves that were already in the game so that the 2 players could do that to each other.  Called it "FACE OFF" and called it good.  That should appease the fans lolololol
