I was thinking today, World of Warcraft has GM, for support and other stuff in-game, they do something that players can't do etc etc. Do you think that would be possiblity in Project Stealth? Imagine, If Developers and Admins are playing versus, and they would have special accounts that allow them to do something that players cannot do, but ofcourse I doubt any of them would be abusing that in a normal game.

What I am trying to say is, Developers or the Admins could just be in a random match, and see if anyone is trollin or bug abusing or even cheating, and the certain people who have power accounts (Only devs and admins should have) could do something about that on a spot? Give a warning or an IP ban?

I think that a good idea, because I do not think that devs and admins would be immature to ban people randomly or cheat in a game? I mean cmon so far I've met few of the devs they are way too mature to be doing that? Any thoughts?

My son IP ban don't work. Example I got new IP every router restart.  :D
For trolling we should have Vote Kick/Ban and Host should be able to ban people from his server.
For Cheating we should have good antihack  ;) with many updates and good database. What won't lag you ingame etc.

WoW is MMO game where hundreds of people play in same time on dedicated servers. CT/PS works mostly on Listen servers so we don't need it.
Also admins should be smart, friendly and no self opinion people, who will to listen both sides if there is any conflict. No one will get banned because of admin's humor.

That's my opinion  ::)

I guess, it still would be kind of fun for people to play with people who made the game >< and see that instantantenios..ly? SH*T :S

None of the devs will really care to be "game police"...so even if it is technically possible to do,   we wont be getting involved with what is happening ingame.

I also wont worry to much about hacks and cheats until there is a large enough community base for it to become a problem.

DreadStunLock

Yeah that's true, but even if they do not want to be "Game Police" as you call it, it would be like an interesting way to get a small opportunity for the community having a helping hand while you are in the game, you know a guy is lucky to have a Dev/Adm on his game, he can ask about a problem like an example: A spy jumped on me but I clearly berserked, and both of us died wtf? And since the Dev, luckily was in that game, he could answer it straight up or something? That was just an example by the way.

We can do whatever we want if we feel like it. Doesn't mean we will be actively patrolling the servers to look for cheaters. I hate that because I prefer [insert something that's not related to PS, like the letter C].

This message was brought to you by the letter Z.

I never meant patrolling!!! Oh god, it's whenever you want to play your personal time .... You don't have to if you don't want to it's just that it would be cool, if the devs and admins would have such privilege.

frvge

Like the Valve-team having insta-kill superweapons? Meh, that'd defeat the game.

....sigh* you don't get the point, you can choose to play the game normally, but if someone at some point is doing something that he shouldn't you can take a small action or something?

Hopefully we have enough honest folks in the community that when a public or limited beta is released people will actually report abusable glitches rather than keep it to themselves.

That should drastically reduce the need or desire to have any "policing" in any fashion taking place.

Report any glitches, help us properly balance the game and produce a much more enjoyable bug free game than that other game  ;)

DreadStunLock

As long as Xfire detects Project Stealth, the bug detecting will go so much easier :P

Farley4Fan

Why shouldn't everyone have the power to ban anyone?

Also, Frvge is way too immature.
