Just thought this might interest a person or two.

Sounds like Ubisoft is just milking their fans, but MEH, if you got a Playstation 3 and extra dollars then you might be all for it.

I've got to bring back the age old SvM question though... Will it work on the Remakes?

A remake is what it is, a remake. How can a remake (as in 1:1 but with better graphics) be worser than the original game? I doubt they'll spend a lot of time fixing bugs, think Half-Life: Source, it's just a different/upgraded engine with some stuff remodelled.

It better not only be on PSN.   If it is, then I will shit a brick.  Prince of Persia remakes I can live without, but I'm stunned about the Splinter Cell news and I can't wait.  Hopefully it won't be just the same game completely but there better not be any projected objectives on the walls.  I'll slap a bitch.

Seems like Ubisoft is finally recognizing that these games were the pinnacle of their game development.  They are bringing CT to DS, tried to return to formula with prince of persia, and now are making some HD remakes of full trilogies?  I understand that "HD remakes" means basically the same thing with maybe a few more polygons visible here and there, but color me impressed at least for the time being. We'll see how they turn out.
