More like years ago people had different skills and knowledge about game, maps, tricks was so low.
Not many ppl even had EAX + there are going snares etc.

And well, you can roll  behind a good player even now and grab him, that's possible.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Most of those videos were made well after 1 year past the game's release. While some of the scenes can be attributed to theatrical use of noob bashing, most of them are against legitimate players. You also don't know what the mercs were seeing or hearing when the spies snuck up on them.

Seefoo and Vantage were top-notch players, and probably the best to use the "stealth only" type of gameplay. And Seefoo did it while never having less than 150 ping on a server because he lives in Hawaii.

To be honest, personal skill of some players might have increased but level of games decreased because of no teamplay.

And no, unless there is something extraordinary going on or the map is full off snairs you cant roll behind a merc and grab him if he has eax.

I bet knooger can roll behind a player with eax and grab. I bet my best pair of flip flops, anyone in? I can add an antique wooden angel (my mom placed it in my room for unknown reason O.o).

Naaah, Knooger is good at hit and run :P I know it, he never grabbed me on Steel Squat ^_^ But damn that was a pain game :(
