Ya maturity does matter because people who are my age and above don't give a flying  hoot about making scripts and bull to ruin the face of the game. interms of testing It comes down to experience so people like westfall and others who have been around for a long time deserve to test it . so that the team can get concrete results.Not mentioning any names here but there is alot people that just troll the forums / don't give proper input.

Unfortunately, as much as I would love for it to work, this failed :/ Not many people came, understandable, some people were selfish by saying they would come, some just weren't too interested.

Nope, whole event was expanded in few hours so, many people was online but you just gone offline before 00:00.
That's not selfish(people have priorities), most people said "maybe" that mean that if they will have time/power/whatever they will play, since everything was expanded in that few hours it's just your problem if you can't play after 00:00 at my time. I was playing ~2am just few games because I had more important/interesing things to do today and yesterday's evening too. So don't really expect from anyone to wake up early to play with you if you go sleep so quick.
