Don't know. Would make sense that you can quick-use some gadgets. But too many would basically mean each gadget gets its own key. Which is part of the game design.

Well the thing is, you can make it for the beta test to allow only the 1 and 2 gadget to be quick used if it's the grenade ofcourse(By the way I would like to see to be able to place Alarm Snares/Spy bullets by hand without any noise at all, because shooting them out will be hearable from the impact on the wall.)

So that means if you have 3 types of grenades you can't quick drop them all.

Same thing with 3 grenades, if it's allowed then allowed. Not much of a balance issue just not as convenient, but it can make spies just a tiny bit slower from that and make some imperfections of balance issues fixed over time of the game.

to add to my own thread  also I think you should be able to select the codec quality much like teamspeak or ventrillo :P !

Who said sth about paying?! Ah wait we're not in Poland... Carry on!

I vote Xfire, alt tabbing is pain in the ass, and it's free.

I dont see a reason why push to talk shouldn't be in as an option.

If one thing PISSES me off about xboxlive (which obviously has no push to talk), is that you always get someone on your team who is trying to play tactically and use voice but you can hear his dog barking, or his mamma/gf telling him off for not coming offline for dinner, or he is breathing down his mic like its a dirty phone call - sometimes these things cant be helped.
Push to talk can get around this as you only hear them when they want you to, and tbh I prefer it for privacy's sake. (i.e my wife asks me for my credit card number or the password to my internet banking while I am in a game then i dont want to neccesarily say that out loud or have to piss about muting my mic)

Obviously for douche's who like to talk trash, or play music at max volume in the background then there is the mute option. But in my experience, if you start limiting voice options people are just goin to start using Teamspeak and Vent as they offer these options.. It happened in SCPT/SCCT, it has happened in WOW and various other games with poor voice chat options.

Then you have the wider problem that you may not be able to voice chat with a random team partner, cause nobody wants to use in game chat.

DreadStunLock

Comparing WoW Voice chat in-game to SCCT Versus is beyond stupidity, sorry but WoW in-game voice chat was way excellent. In versus it's ridicilously low quality, in WoW it was bearable because you had push to talk or self activation.

@Dwarf: I miss your dancing little man.

I would like a Push-to-Talk button, simply for the fact I don't need an host telling me I have to push down a button or not.

Besides that I only want people to hear me when I want people to hear me, not constantly. So I disagree with Binary. When my little brother walks into the room you guys don't have to hear what he has to say, for example.

EDIT: Just saw scopes post, exactly my thoughts.

As this is my first post on the subject, I'm confused as to what we disagree on! :o

If only Stevethecookie was that way, he doesn't have a brother but I doubt your little brother can be any worse than his friend....Seriously....

+ Lennard do you ever talk? Last time I think you said Hi when Frvge was pissing himself laughing in a Xfire chat room with me and Agent oO And of course I didn't hear crap xD

Excuse me Binary, I meant tigaer.

@DreadStunLock: I'm usually not very talkative.  Still, I could have a conversation with someone in my room which I don't want to share over the internet.

@Dwarf: He's back, YAY!
