A really good team in Ct must consist of two super good stealth/aggro mixers , preferably that one is better at stealth and the other at aggro.

And your mate must be same freak like you are.

That's fucking right.

I once heard from a guy saying, playing stealth is intense and you get adrenaline from thinking wether the mercenary saw you or not, was quite funny. But still I think aggro is a lot better than stealth. Stealth can't really help you when your teammate dies.

Ofcourse stealth is intense because of that... and it's nothing about what's  better, it's about how good people play in their style.
You have to believe in your teammate or whole teamplay will fail.

DreadStunLock

In my opinion I think it's kind of lame, if he saw you, you would know that, the only intense about it is to think of how to run away :P

That's not a huge problem in CT, that even help a bit spy in specific moments.
Obviously... where's the advantage for the merc?

ehh or both are good at either style; like led and kronf.

I agree the system should be kept the way it is. The only thing that's annoying in my eyes is that you can't activate the mask while climbing up the ladder, which was already mentioned.

NeoSuperior

Both styles are OK in my opinion, however it would balance the game more, if playing stealth was easier and playing aggro harder.

I mean:

In CT i see too many spies attack mercs from front, throwing 1000s of smoke/chaff/bang nades and laggrabbing the merc... come on...
the merc should always be the stronger one in direct confrontations, but on big maps the 2nd merc can't make it in time to help his mate, so there are often situations, where 2 spies just gang up on 1 merc and just spam nades like crazy...

There is advantage for spy, like Spekkio said.. merc in vent = good target for spy;)
If someone get tazed and he off gasmask, then he can't use gasmask for that 1 second :)

@Down
No, I didn't.
Quote is fixed so ya should understand.

Did you even read my post?

Spekkio

Havoc + Weezer were really good at coordinating their aggro, and you can tell that most of the time that they actually had a strategy rather than just shocking the merc at random. Thing is, I always got frustrated playing them because of massive lag b/w our servers...we'd typically dominate as hosts and get smashed as clients.

DreadStunLock

Doesn't that basically make them lag on your server? Since if you lag on theirs, I doubt there is a legit way to even win basically.

Snakebit.

What happened to spy team hosts and rehost every map ? ???

Merc host is better than spy host. Most of the host BS benefits spies.

I agree with snakebit about what it takes to win, but I would modify that to be an "A" type player and a "B" type player. The "A" guy is the one that you see most of the time...not necessarily aggro per se, but he's the visible guy you're always running into/chasing around/cursing at for being annoying while the "B" guy is much less visible to the other team...again not necessarily more stealthy, but his role is just less noticed but equally important.

Pretty much. It was a shame, too.

DreadStunLock

Sounds like a dedicated server is needed :P

Ofcourse, I would like to buy or sth a server for 4 players it's ultra cheap :D
