Question: How dark LH is? Is there many very dark places to hide(for spy) like in orph?

There is plenty of darkness, more so then in the original Lakehouse. The areas that are well lite will have lights that can be hacked/destroyed. Also there is plenty of objects to hide behind as well as alternate paths that can be opened up.

I think the first vid is really ugly. Just some color that changes over time. We use handmade textures to give it more shape.

The second is a lot better, but wouldn't work as well if it were an explosion, and not a straight up line like it currently is. On first sight it looks slightly thicker than our version, but again, we can still tweak it for balancing purposes.

@frvge: You shouldn't try to defend our version of the smoke-grenade as being the best there is - with the excuse of it being untweaked - but rather stand open for suggestions.

@zglina: Care to elaborate on what makes you think that the particle in the video is better in comparison to ours, like, do you like the detail better or something else?

Will the frag grenade react with the smoke grenade by the way?

DreadStunLock

Yeah, it should be fair since you are trading an explosive to get rid of the smoke if necessary, or it can happen by accident.

Or you just use a gasmask, makes my life easier.

Can a shockwave actually blow away smoke?
it's not just pressure moving, an explosion creates a lot of gas that needs to go somewhere...

@frvge: will you include the best questions from the previous live shows?

Can a shockwave actually blow away smoke?

yeah, most damage from an explosion is from the pressure wave/shockwave.

LennardF1989

It is doable that the frag can blow away the smoke, but let's continue that in the other topic shall we ;)?
