I was just wondering if accessibility to new players is a consideration in this project.

I've played a bit of Chaos Theory multiplayer but I found my enjoyment of the game to vary greatly from session to session.  At times, I would be paired up with a novice player against two skilled and experienced teammates.  In my experience, the most enjoyable games would happen when the teams were at comparable skill and experience levels.

Is there any thought/effort being put into making the game easy to get into?
Matt, just install Xfire and Agent will be glad to guide you. The game is hard when you start on your own.

I might cry. A post from Dread talking about Agent that doesn't sound demeaning or disrespectful. I couldn't be more proud. :'(
thats why I applauded him!  ;)

What? He is the top player of this Project.

well lets not get too ahead here  =/, from a business perspective I guess some would say I am but interms of players of chaostheory there are people out there who are better then me But make no mistake I can hold my own and Run your mouth then I will put that money where that mouth is =) .

I  think I just got insulted after giving a praise, that is so weird.

:/ i generalize alot........ I wasn't pointing any fingers at you or i would have included the words " Dread Stunlock".

@Agent & Dread: You two are sooo cute!!!! I love it! I'll stop now so I don't ruin the moment.

(Tutorials. I like the idea even more than I did when it was brought up last time! Was the modular design the one that was agreed upon (Every piece disconnected)? Or is there going to be a general, all around, tutorial like CT for when you first start (All pieces connected)? OR is it going to have a tutorial like CT when you start, but then if you CHOOSE you can play some extra tutorial levels to get the idea of other stuff not explained in the general tutorial (big piece that's connected that is complimented by small disconnected pieces)? Or will they all just be VIDEOS? That would be kind of a different, though easier sounding way to get the point across...)

(Was it Mr Mic that did the EMF tutorial that showed how different walls affect EMF in different ways? Cause that one was PERFECT!)
If you haven't noticed, I'm REALLY good at making a simple response into a wall of text.

Experienced players teaching new players isn't scalable. Best thing you can do is have a great tutorial, and implement ghosts as found in DA to help players learn their way around the maps. Maybe you could take a hint from TF2 and have an optional introductory video that shows off the map and how to play the objectives.

Edit: No comment.

I'm a dildo.

Furthermore, I knew dread and agent would grow to like eachother - even publicly.  It's like how you harrass the girl in kindergarten to hide your crush.  The two will soon be inseparable.
