reticles and attachments

i have access to hundreds of images , knowing off the top of my head more than a dozen sites about any kind of gear that would be used , and i realize while youre cloning versus and all , after that will be custom implementation ...

so i have some ideas , which i will update this topic with .

first , i think a number of reticles should be present , as no first person shooter (and this is 1st /3rd for anyone not ocnvinced merc is most certainly first person , and should act that way) i know of ever without more than 3 reticles .



the scope in DA is pretty good , but an Acog Reflex is a bit much . also the sight in double agent solo is pretty tight , i love the clarity in the glassed lens , so maybe something like above would be a good choice for upcoming customizations

and this for a merc weapon :



if mercs went silenced the gameplay would certainly be more interesting , since the sound of fire is often what leads the spies to the merc's position . but i believe that pt and ct versus was what it was , and it should be an option if it is even considered .

Haven't used the reticle in DA so can't comment but it does look nice. 

Honestly, while I love the sound and idea of silenced weapons, I think it would alter the game too much.  You're right that a spy relies on the sound of a gun to know the position and such of the merc but that can be quite vital for spies survival.  So yeah, at most it should be an option or some special gameplay.  Besides, something looks wrong with that gun.  The grenade launcher looks ugly and the silencer is sooo damn long.  Without the silencer and the grenade launcher, the barrel and the whole gun itself would look really cool.

well thats a FAMAS RIS with m203 grenade launcher , the m203 launcher is what the army uses .

the overall length would be extended yes , but you gain the element of stealth that cannot be achieved if your rifle echoes througout the entire map . which is why i proposed a second game-type for use of stealthy mercs .

its one thing to hear a merc and smoke him till he coughs and passes out , its another for him to do many of the things you do , and still find him to attack .

also here is a side view :



the famas has a 1200 RPM Rate of Fire , and these extended clips would hold more shells. also the FAMAS with an upper handle would be sort of cumberosme to mount a scope onto , not much , but a flat upp rail is a nice touch . match that with a 4 x sight and cyclable reticles and you've got yourself a pretty mean wepaon .

I know it's an M203 I'm just saying it looks really goofy on that gun.  Maybe if this was added as a second gun or different gameplay then the merc should have slower movement. 

That gun is still pretty sick looking overall.  The M203 just looks a lot better on an M16.  I prefer the shorter M203 than the longer one.  Plus, the shorte M203 would seem more practical in Project Stealth since they're more confined maps.

u can make the gun silent but then u get more a spy vs spy game... the are both stealth then or their way..

well that would be wrong ... i mean why would anyone make a game out of chaos thoery ... oh snap , theyre already tryiong to  . and i hope this goes to court , ubi would make a killin off you tardws , for recording versus sounds and sayin "it is all our intellectual property , since the idea , the idea for graphics , the idea for the gameplay is all stolen * team gets tackled* ...

Although not realistic, because the HKGLM was made for the HK416 rifle, it looks better like that, and this game is not exactly a sim.

And this for the Spies:



With a modified version of the flash hider so that it looks like something that can shoot "spy bullets".

The first gun looks pretty sweet.  The M203 looks decent since it's shorter but still a little out of place on the gun. 

I'm assuming the 2nd gun is just for looks?  No way should spies get real guns  ;D
