The half split jump.

Probably should animate that into the game, so that you aren't constricted to using split jumps at locations that are the width of the spy's legs.

Do you mean he can split jump in narrower corridors or wider corridors or what?

Yeah, that would be awesome on Squat.
Narrower corridors - most of the mass is close to one wall, while one leg counters the other... hard to explain.

Yea. Instead of doing a full split, one leg is extended while the spy uses his other knee against the wall.

He should be able to climb up slowly as well.

I guess it would be ok. Though I find that for the most part, corridors tend to be too wide, not too narrow. So really, I'm not sure how helpful a narrow split jump would be. There are a few places here and there that I could see it being used, but not many.

Too narrow is sucky for running around and passing eachother. But maybe it's ok for the not-much-used passage ways.

I certainly hope the maps aren't full of corridors that narrow. If you get caught in one you're trapped. A better way to make split jumps more useful would be to have more areas that it can be used in.

UT 3 has certain physics that might allow for different width corridors for the split jump.

Iservalot....you think the leg physics would work on this?

It would be nice...

A chimney climb move (up and down) would be a nice plus for the game.

narrow corridors can be a good gameplay element. i don't think that it should always be possible to ss the merc and run away right past him.
