there are already tons of places where you can't bypass traps/poison mines without chaff/mate. i can see that poison mines and traps may be op in some more spots with free angle placement, but laser mines could certainly need more possibilities. i don't see any problems with mines on the floor at all (as there will be a slow-climb move anyways if the devs aren't dumb which they obviously aren't).

can any dev confirm  that laser mines will blow up instantly and that the trigger radius of proxies or the delay gets lowered?

it would make more sense to base a discussion on more facts as these changes seem quite reasonable and natural to me.

being able to place mines on the floor would make it possible for mercs to entirely block off every single ladder in the map they can access. And the ability to adjust the angle of the laser would just prove too powerful. They would make it possible to create criss-cross patterns that no spy could viably bypass. Leave mines the way they are.
