Tinden is short for Tidenburg?

Why do people always mispronounce my name?

Tie-Den-Burg

I've never mispronounced your name...

Gawain

and i've even never pronounced it at all  :P
back on topic plz: diversified mines. i think it should be possible to place them on the ground. other ideas would be an adjustable angle for laser or poison mines (or spytraps) or even an adjustable trigger time and radius XD

Gawain, no to adjusting laser direction.  That is why it takes some skill/intelligence to plant them effectively.  If you could just plant it anywhere and have it point anywhere, that's would make mines ridiculously overpowered.  Imagine planting a mine and adjusting a laser so it shoots up into a vent, or into the spy spawn, or into other choke points.  If this was possible, the merc could plant a mine somewhere so that it can't be disabled by the spy, especially with chaff not going through walls.

Westfall

you could shoot the chaff down the vent papa.

Taking away the choice whether or not to take chaff?

Farley4Fan

It depends westfall.  And even if you could chaff them it would give away your position AND force you to take them every single match.

So...you can shoot the chaff down the vent papa.
