Some of you may have played with and remember me from SCCT. The most common names I played under were B1nArY_001 and Tutenkamen. An old buddy I played with in SCCT told me about this project so I thought I would drop you guys a line. I've done texturing, texture painting, character modeling, architechtural modeling, prop modeling, animation (IK and Biped mostly), level design and a small amount of AI scripting though hardly worth mentioning. There is some rather old work shown on the Ubi map editor forum, not the best example of my work but but here are some screens of a model I'm working on currently. It has been in the works for 2 weeks and sits at 13k polygons with perfect edgeloops and 100% quad geometry.

Looks cool. We already have someone working on the spy and merc models but I am sure we could use your talents with textures, architecture, props and maybe animation.

^^true.....character work is well underway.  It requires only 2 characters.

But we need experienced modellers for filling up the levels with assets.  The character is looking good, and if you can do that....hard edged stuff should be easy for you.

Innocent, you should seriously consider him for doing stuff that will require normal mapping on your map. Zedblade is well underway with his map and I think likes to work independantly.

We have Gui and Blob working on stuff....but they are learning as they go and dont have someone to lead them.

We have 9gb of assets (houses, vehicles, weapons, household stuff) if we need them...but we will need someone to UV and create low poly stuff from all of that.

What are your texturing skills?

is this for porno tycoon XXX? :P

thought we need some1 for animation?

Model looks good. The hands look really feminin :). It's good that you can see the gender by looking at the hands alone.

Can you show some non-biped material? Preferably textured.

I would be happy to help with most anything. Right now I don't have much to show, I discarded most of my old work and have been working on a fresh portfolio. My texturing experience lies mostly in Photoshop and a little DP3D (I will some times use a render of a model to create textures also. It works very well when creating maps for metal plates with corrosion, rivets etc.) I'll dig around in some old CD's and try to find some other examples that are textured. I am however well versed in the use of specular maps, masking, bump maps/hight maps and normal maps. Custom shaders are something I have not delved into to deep.

Programming experience? Besides that little thing with AI

No, my programming experience is limited to having created side scroller style games in the early 90's. I have retained an understanding of the mechanics but couldn't create a snippet to save my life these days.

I did a pretty thorough job; the only thing I missed when discarding my old work was a map I had worked on a bit called "Grey Line". It was a bus terminal with a locker room bathrooms lobby and garage. There is one fully textured and explorable Metro Bus. My local transit system was kind enough to let me explore a parked bus with a camera so I was able to capture the smaller details.I'm not sure if the version of the map I found has it in it (It's attached to an email I sent Rx-Geo). I don't currently have SCCT or SCCTEd installed so instead of install a dual boot to get around the XP-64 Starforce bullsh*t I dug up a few sketches of a sticky cam and sticky shocker projectile I created and had intended to impliment as a mod. I'll model and texture both and post some screens. They aren't to complex and should only take a few hours to complete. They should display some design innovation, practicality and realism in functionality along with texturing and modeling. It won't be till later this evening or perhaps tomorrow as I have in-laws arriving at the airport this afternoon. I wouldn't expect these to see use, I'm only creating them as an example.

Can't wait to see more of your work.

Yeah, if it looks good, it's fine, but when if looks good, and feels good, and is of use, tehn it is really good, for we do not need anything that has no use in the game

Maybe he wants to "feel" that model.
