I'M BACK! YEAH BABY, YEAH! OH BEHAVE! I'm all super hyper on getting this game out ASAP!

Sorry it's taking so long but I really appreciate the patience and everyone still taking the time to talk about stuff on the forum nearly each day. I think that just has to be said.

Thank you,
Lennard Fonteijn

SOLVE IT! NOW! I tried numerous of combinations, but it's fun to pull some of you guys in I guess.

People believe it's a find and replace (5 becomes -). But if you keep doing this, you eventually end up at exactly the same value (there are like 5 infinite loops).

Also, the l becomes l is suspicious, it might be a hint (see fourth sequence).

I want to remind you guys about some things regarding applauding/smiting. As you can read here:, karma has been added to the forums just a few days ago and I am already seeing forms of abuse (Dread being in -22 and Agent being in +17). I would like to remind you guys, as stated in the aforementioned topic, that ANY form of abuse will result in a global server ban (and also a ban in-game once PS is released). We can see exactly who gave who an applaud/smite on which topic.

Other than that, I feel the karma-option should be disabled in the off-topic section, as it should represent how you are in the serious topics, not the non-sense ones.

Presentation Forum / Remember remember...
« on: June 12, 2011, 05:40:44 PM »

I dedicate this image to Farley, for it being his old avatar if I remember correctly.

Took me some time to create, but it was fun to do. I will probably make a second one in the future to see if I can get an even better shape and less gaps.

If you want to give it yourself a go, get these two images:

Be sure to print on thicker than normal paper. Cut out the parts with a knife, as you can be a lot more precise with it, use the back of the knife to carve in the lines on which you're going to fold the paper. Use a dry and easily removable glue - like photo-glue or Pritt - for if you make mistakes. Last but not least, have fun doing it.

For more angles on my version, check:

General / Off-Topic / Steam Sale Ripoff, need help?
« on: November 26, 2010, 11:59:23 AM »
Hey guys,

As you may have noticed steam is running a sale untill the 29th with new offers every day.

As you might also know, there is a huge difference between USD, GBP and EUR pricings and I think we could help eachother out getting the best deals where possible.

I, for example, want to buy Batman through someone in Great Brittian.
USD: 10.20
EUR: 10.20
GBP: 5.10

In this case, if I would pay in euro's, GBP is the cheapest, because it's 27% under the USD price!

So if someone can help me out, please, I'll send you the money back (in the right valuta, ofcourse) through Paypal. Please contact me before the timer runs out on Xfire/Steam/MSN/PM whatever.

Feel free to use this topic for your own requests!

General / Off-Topic / My New PC
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:46:05 PM »
I just bought the first and most important part, the Cooler Master Centurion 590

I loved the slick design of this one, especially because it has the power button on top-front (rather than on the side, which is piss-ugly - Yes, looking at your PC frvge :P) and the USB ports on the front, rather than on top of the casing (which seems to be very popular, WHY?!).

Once I receive the case I will order my other parts, a small gripe from the stack:
  • XFX 5850 Black Edition (which I will later CrossFire with a second one)
  • ASUS P6X58-E (with x58 Chipset - allowing x16/x16 lanes on SLI/Crossfire - S-ATA 600 and USB 3.0)
  • Intel Core i7-950 (which yesterday dropped 50% in price, core clock at 3,06GHz, TurboBoost to 3,33GHz, overclockable to 4,2GHz with ease)
  • Corsair 6GB DDR3-1600 (Made especially for the X58 chipset and the i7-9xx series)

This in combination with a Cooler Master Silent Pro 700w (with future upgrades in mind, current system uses less than 400 watts).

Should run Crysis easily :P

General / Off-Topic / Battlefield 2 playing weekend :D

Due to a certain topic I just have this urge to play Battlefield 2, who owns this game and feels like a good 32-64 player game over the weekend? The more the merrier ;)

There are loads of empty servers we can use.

Name your XFire account so I can invite you to the groupchat, it will probably take place Saturday around 8PM GMT+1 (reasonable for USA too, which would be 2AM or so - West Coast -). We'll probably use a Teamspeak server for the fun of it, too.

Public Discussion / SM2 support being removed next UDK build
« on: May 29, 2010, 02:54:05 PM »
Do people have problems with this?

SM2 stands for Shader Model 2.0 which is used by older videocards, whereas most modern videocards support SM3 or even SM4. So it does remove some sort of legacy support.

I don't really mind though, spares like 1/3 of the shader recompiling time... :P

You can check if you're videocard support SM3 by looking for the specification "Pixel Shader" and see if it is at least 3.0

I just bought Splinter Cell Conviction.

Why? Because I believe I can't judge a game before actually playing it (seeing it doesn't count) and downloading it and having to install DRM server emulators and shit is just too much of a hazzle (I thus indirectly support the DRM, argh). Besides, the coop seems fun, right?

I bought the normal version because the only exclusive thing you can't somehow get your hands on is a stupid SPAS shotgun. You can already download the "Making of", comic book and the soundtrack (and it's probably also released officially for FREE because of defective USB drives that came with the limited edition, lol). All other stuff can be unlocked by actually PLAYING the game instead of typing codes or texting Ubisoft and giving them even more money.

There, i said it, fuck you Ubisoft.

General / Off-Topic / PSP multiplayer anyone?

Does anyone here have a PSP? (and maybe XLink setup -and working, duh -).

I'm looking for people to play Fat Princess with, I'm also fine with other suggestions.

Public Discussion / [Official] Spy discussion

A serie of topics in attempt to resurrect the forum

Although pretty much everything has been discussed, but spread over quite a number of topics, it would be pretty awesome if everything is rethought (again) and bundled in one official topic. This first post will be updated reguraly with ideas, thoughts, stories, anything ;)

The first topic in the series: The Spy.

What about it?
What should the spy be able to do (animation wise)? Do you want multiple spy skins/models? If so, should they be unlocks like DA? What should the story/history of the spy be? Which gadgets should he have? Should there be a limit on how many gadgets he can carry? Should there be ammocrates for the spy as they are for the mercenary? Anything you can think up!

Note: Don't go really deep into the gadgets themself (mechanics), just say which ones you think the spy should have. Only new ones in comparision to PT/CT/DA should get a small description for later discussion. Each gadget will get its own topic for discussion!

What do we know already
- Works for some corporation, but not how he ended up there.
- Non-lethal besides neckbreak.
- Stealthy
- Cool moves such as diving, wallflip, back to wall.
- Can climb pretty much everywhere (freeroaming)

What does the community think?
- Multiple models, but only slight changes. Multiple skins would be cool, too.
- Random drop of items.
- 3 rounds of sticky shocker in one go. Recharge afterwards.
- Story: Private corporation, as long as it's not out of revenge.
- A spy humiliation move (LOL: teabagging with physics!)
- DA like animations and escape moves
- Disorientating gas out of wrist (See image 1)

Public Discussion / GamesCom - The story (updated)
« on: August 23, 2009, 02:27:51 PM »
As promised, today I will be posting the images made at GamesCom. Each comes with a story, so read on. Yes, we know the booth looks horrible, that's our budget in action.

18th: Building the booth

It was supposed to be build already. We we're carrying a big-ass TV and all stuff that was supposed to be on the booth. After an hour or 2 of arranging, we had to go back to the camping, taking back all the stuff again.

19th: Press day

Since we had no rating, we had to cover all the screens as much as possible. Germany is a bitch, so even with this setup the USK came by and complained. We were pretty pissed about it, so we took a laptop with us to the USK booth and after about 2 hour we had a "All age"-rating.

20th: Public day #1

Since we now had an "All age"-rating, we could make the booth more "lounge"-like, so we bought some cheapass PR material (208 business cards and some URL's on the wall) and recieved about 70 people. We were demoing the Spy in lakehouse like whole day.

21st: Public day #2

All 208 cards were taken by the crowd, yay.

22nd and 23rd: Public day #3 & #4

No pictures yet, sorry. But we were sponsored by AluGraphics for two really nice mouse-pads.

Some general pictures.

Spy banner

Our "Holland Paviljoen"-logo, looks pretty kick-ass. (below us is the Triumph Studios logo from the Overlord and Age of Wonders series)

More photos about our stay in Koln/Cologne can be found at . Have fun!

That's all folks!
