I figured I'd show off a bit, these are the souvenirs from my first experience in competative gaming. My University starcraft II team played for a $5000 prize pool at CES.

Anyone who knows me, knows that immersion is often what will sell me on a game. With that being said, I feel that a 1st person option for the spy would make the game more exciting and fun to play.

I am aware that this would make playing as a spy much more difficult but if it were an individual option, and not a game mode setting, this wouldn't be a problem.

Would anyone else want this or use it? Thoughts?

I know that it won't be changed, but does anyone else think that this has happened to the spy model and to a lesser extent the mercs too?

Surely I can't be the only one who thinks this...

I've been listenning to alot of different music recently and I decided I would see if I can scrape some insight off of you guys.

So what kind of music do you guys listen to, how do you listen to it and with what?

(Favorite genres, favortite bands, headphones, speakers, music players, etc. etc.)

I guess I'll start. Last week I discovered a band called "The Glitch Mob" and I can say that all their stuff is awesome.  They don't even have a genre! THAT is how cool they are. I strongly reccomend checking out their blog and website, they have tons of free mixes and releases in 320 CBR.

I strongly reccomend you guys get this gem. It has a very strong online community and the team games are fantastic.

Deskpins is just some freeware I discovered. Its probably the most useful thing I have ever used in terms of productivity and frequency of use. All it does is allow you to pin windows on top of one another.

Been a while since I contributed to these forums but I thought I'd throw this idea out there just for shits and giggles.

Any thoughts on having different vault animations for the spies based on the speed they are running at?
In chaos theory if you were making your escape and you were running to vault over a railing, you would run into the rail and start to mash space until you went over and that would be that.

I would love to see an animation where the spy does a speed-vault or hurdles over the railing similar to the way the wall flip works. You run toward the obstacle hit the appropriate button at an appropriate distance and you are locked into the animation.

Just a thought. Yours?

An idea just crossed my mind to make things easier for teams without mics. a system similar to the COM system in BF2 could be implemented where a player holds down a key and a menu pops up in the middle of the screen as long as the button is held, prerecorded messages can be selected with the mouse.

I think this needs to be either removed or given a reason to even be in the game. In CT all it did was nerf your gun making you shoot slower but shouldn't it give you an accuracy bonus or something like that?

same thing with crouching, putting an accuracy bonus on a crouching merc would also give a reason to crouch while ranging a spy. although I can't imagine why i would want to try and kill him crouched instead of chasing him full throttle.
