You can wait a while for that. Collision of the broken tables doesn't work right. Collision is always a bitch to get right. And yes, tables and chairs can be broken.

That sounds very cool actually!

better option, give us all.

3 different sounds for 1 gun would be weird, unless you mean you want the mercs to have 3 different guns?  Or the option to change the sound settings for said gun?

Personally, I think the HK or the g36 would be more fitting to the game.

Public Discussion / Re: Teamwork is essential...

Very impressed, its nice to see some actual teamwork in SvM gameplay.  I do hope this will be something that can be done on any high ledge/railing on the majority of maps and not just an aesthetic move.

This does show promise and I Hope we will see a double team attack eventually.  I remember the "Monkey Flip Toss" move from co-op in one of the past SC games being something different and cool, but rarely if ever needed to be used.

Don't you think it's kinda their fault? They never really promoted SvM multiplayer or so. I bought game and there is no even screenshot from SvM and 2 lines of text. :)
Proper promotion makes more players than anything else.

I feel its basic multiplayer, thats how games get their replay value is multiplayer. SvM was just that.  It was there in the beginning theres no reason to take out it later due to "lack of popularity/steep learning curve."  Multiplayer has reached the point in gaming where it SHOULDNT need advertisement, its expected to be there.  Conviction's lack thereof of overall popularity was mostly due to there not being SvM.

The only other game I can think of that has removed multiplayer after having before is Bioshock 3 (we will see how well this game sells without it), but you can argue that the first game didnt have multiplayer, so its ok for them to remove it from the third title.

All that being said and my disappointment from Conviction aside, I REALLY hope PS bring back solid SvM gameplay to the forefront of gaming.  No one else is doing it right now.

Yes, but the premise is still too much action-based. In hindsight, some parts of hobo Sam could be merged with some of the SCC ideas. Add a sprinkle of old school SCCT and it'd be a nice game.

In hindsight, yeah, that sounds like an okay game. It's just too bad their decisions on the direction for the game were never close to that. It was either:

-modern day assassins creed (hobo sam)

or

- 24-esque plotline action Sam (conviction)

A throwback to classic splinter cell design seemed to never be a thought past, "you still have to be sorta sneaky". Anyone remember how throwing chairs and flipping tables was a big point in hobo sam's version of Conviction? :P

...or "hero vision"...

I even remember watching the tech demo and waiting for the beta to come 2 weeks later before it got canned.  I do like how Conviction ended up, but I dont like the complete lack of Spy vs Merc due to the time crunch they were on to release a SC game.

I have sworn not to play SCC. Up till now I haven't broken my word :) Did watch a few vids, to conclude it's a nice action game, but it has nothing to do with SC.

Its better than the Hobo Sam Fisher game we were going to get. >_>

Conviction had EXCELLENT Single Player mechanics.  I still feel that if someone were to crack that game and remove mark and execute you could make a pretty awesome spy vs merc game mode in there somewhere, but alas.  Far from the best game in the series (multiplayer wise).
