I haven't drawn with my tablet for aggesss, so I tried practising anatomy/proportions. Considering what my normal drawings are like, this was alright, I think. The head on the right side is far too small and off-centre though :(

I liked the beta, played Caspian Border before they went public. Great experience. I only don't like the browser-based shit (Battlelog ansich is good though) and Origin trying to clone Steam makes me laugh.

True, and I'm aware of that. But the only thing EA will hear is a financial hit, so I think not buying it is important. I'm so strapped for cash at the minute too that sticking to my guns won't be hard ;D

They're not obligated to be on Steam, as Newell said, but when they clearly are doing it just pocket some extra cash, it's not right.

My only problem with it is that I can see it becoming expected of video games to implement this feature. I've not really looked into it much, and I don't want to sound lazy, but I don't want to have to work on this feature for everything I ever make if it's more than a few lineswaps  ;D

Ubisoft purchased the rights to make any game and slap Clancy's name on it. I doubt it extends to film deals.

That's a problem for pretty much all computer components, no matter when you buy, nowadays. If it's not something better, it's something cheaper. :(

I really need to upgrade my computer. My socket type is so archaic that I can't even go up to an i5. Problem is I'll have to save up quite a bit of dosh as I'll be needing DDR3 to go with my new motherboard... and processor.

A country should decide based on what is the rational thing to do, not emotion, which is what you're talking about. Yes, it was shit. Yes, we have chavvy cunts in our country. (~60% turned out to be people who were re-offenders / on parole, I saw in the papers.) DC was criticised on the first and second nights for being too light handed and the police were understaffed. After the third night those complaints quickly went away when baton rounds were brought in. I don't think anyone anticipated it carrying on as long as it did.

I can understand when someone is stealing something because he have kids and cannot find work or sth sth ( I don't accept it, but that's must for him atleast for some time), but when someone is destroying, blowing up, beating or killing anybody for fucking fun then it's strange and punishment should be highest possible.

They are being punished. They're also being considered to have any support taken away and the parents of under 18 rioters might have theirs taken away too. Not even mentioning the prison sentences a lot of people are getting.

Maybe now these people should have a months of hard work  for society, why not?

tldr: The rioters are in no way representative of our culture. It shows a failing of our culture, sure, but I think our government handled it well. There's a limit to how heavy a government can come down on people. What if they were rioting with an arguably genuine cause and the gov was as heavy handed as you want, just because part of the public wants it? If we make sanctions for such reactions then they could easily be abused in future. It's a balance.
