Hmm, I can't get the disable driver thingy to work.

I installed it, put "Test mode" restarting computer, but I don't have watermark in the corner = it doesn't work.

knooger

Boot with testmode and install it since point 7.

Alright, I'm going to bump this thread again.

Now I want to start playing SCCT again - but yet, once again - this is a REALLY REALLY annoying problem...
Since I last time I've reformatted my PC - so, all new drivers and such. So that was not the problem as I still got the exact same problem.

I also tried an optical mouse, on 2 different surfaces - same problem here. So I don't think there's a DPI problem as it's the same problem with both laser and optical..

One thing I just thought of quickly - I'm playing with resolution 1600x1200, but that's not widescreen and I have widescreen..?

Tried this too:

Did not work.

Can anyone give this a serious thought?
I really want to play, but this problem is way to annoying. I can't aim.... If I do small movements - they're big ingame too.. Like jumpy.

I could record and you'll see...

its not ur dpi , its ur polling rate as mentioned on the last page before this, you need to set it at 125 hz.

http://www.overclock.net/t/596276/changing-usb-polling-rate-to-1000hz-or-lower

I downloaded this.
And I did everything according to the guide.

Changed the polling rate to 125 (though I've read 125 is standard?)
Though it's 125 when I move my mouse fast it peaks at 1030 Hz????
And when I move my mouse really slow the average goes from like average 1000 Hz and 1 ms response time too 50-100 Hz and 2-80 ms?

Ehm, tried changing mouse again.
Seems like the problem really is about the mouse after all....

http://bildr.no/view/1246803

Here I tried drawing a STRAIGHT line with the optical and the laser mouse... You can clearly see which one draws the most straight line... Also worked quite good in SCCT now, except that the optical mouse itself is really bad.. So seems like I'll have to get a "real" optical mouse just to play SCCT haha.. (I don't really notice this in any other situations, but guess then I don't draw mouse slow)
