You guys are right, it seems a little unbelievable, but their source is an interview IGN held and there's interviews with Ken Levine where he talks about how advanced the physics engine is; it's not all that hard to believe

So this is somewhat relevant (Infinite's engine is a modified UE3 engine); I just re-watched the Bioshock: Infinite trailer and, maybe I'm behind the times, but this part (with the building falling): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hM91ZdrB74&feature=player_detailpage#t=83s

...Go ahead, go watch, I'll wait...

No cheating- go watch

Back? Ok, anyways- the building falling, and the bell crashing beside you, it's all done in real time! They didn't even know the building was going to fall; it was sheer luck that they were in the right place at the right time! The engine handles all of the interactions between the the weather effects (mainly wind) and the buildings. So this building you see is put off-balance by the bell, and eventually the structure can't take the force exerted by gravity / the bell pulling down on the building at such an extreme angle; so the building collapses and the bell comes racing towards you :D (where I found this out: http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/BioShock_Infinite )

...yeah, I just geeked out a little

Merry Christmas everybody :D

Just the cool stuff: received Firefly & Serenity from my roommate and a book titled "All My Friends are Dead" from my sister (not as emo as it sounds, really funny actually).

Jumping makes sense- some times you have to run away as a merc and jumping will give Mercs a fighting chance in an ambush

O.o consider them withdrawn...

I feel like one of those Civil War nuts who put out lawn chairs and watched the battles happen right in front of them...

Everybody's so tense... how about some puppies? Everybody likes puppies, right?

In any case- sorry for my absence from everything, I'm working hard for the very thing we're all here for ;)

If you haven't yet, listen to some Arctic Monkeys.
Arctic Monkeys are pretty awesome, but I can only take them in small doses, don't really know why

Pus- Don't listen to Dread, The Doors are definitely top 10 of all-time greatest bands; who doesn't make a station on Pandora mainly featuring them?

Dread- Awesome song, great spacey-techno vibe, but that guy's eyes just follow you...

NOT COOL- FREAKING CLOWNS. This may be like giving gas to pyros, but I'm deathly afraid of clowns...

But there's no snow where I am- who has Christmas without snow?!

...ready for puppies, right? RIGHT!??!?!

Hey everybody-
So I'm looking for some new music; something to listen to while gaming / working on Project Stealth, any ideas? I normally listen to Cage the Elephant, Jet, the Black Keys and bands like that, but I've been known to listen to some jazz and trance every once in awhile.

Oh, and for anybody looking for something different / new, try electro-swing; it's crazy awesome fun in a can. (like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qjomu9K0Xk )

O.o I was talking about the Easter Egg when I said "I'll see what I can do" I have NO idea how everybody's username was changed; I may be a programmer, but I'm not that good

Haha alright, Frvge got me good; he changed it so that everybody's screen name showed up as "NotBearInATie" for Farley, him and I, he also changed it so that clicking on someone's new screen name linked you to a rick roll :P
