I was tempted to say yes, then I remembered how terrible it was playing trans-continental games, let alone trans-Atlantic games while I was on the East Coast.

200 ping from Cali? No thanks.

I did and quickly looked at the various meme sites that listed the origin. Only found stuff attributing it to Einstein, so either they are wrong, or I didn't see it.

I'd like to see your source for that :).
Recommend Google search.

In the 10 years since SCPT, name one Ubisoft game that had a polished multiplayer.

"Gaming PCs" aren't as expensive as they used to be. I think with 500 you can come a long way.
Or I could spend $400 on a ps4 and never have to worry about compatibility for the next 7-8 years.

Anyway, I wasn't looking for a gaming PC pitch. The real question is: Is it better than Dishonored? Because that game made me realize every other stealth game was based on annoying you into finding the optimal route through the game. It's the pinnacle of stealth action.

So what's the verdict on this one? Is it more similar to SC1/2/3 than the last two?

If I buy it, it'll be on PS3 so I'll primarily be playing single player. Unfortunately, my laptop can't handle this game and I have no plans on investing in a gaming PC.

Project Stealth needs to show more presence... a lot of people think that PS was dropped.

This could be achieved by:

1. Updating the main site! last update was in january.... OF 2012!
2. Finally uploading that gameplay video to indieDB!
etc...
This game has been "in development" for 7 years now. The hundred or so people who would have had interest based on SCCT have moved on.

After 7 years the best you have is a 30 second clip of a spy running around a map. This game will never be released. And in the off-chance it is, it will be buggier and less polished than SCPT could ever dream of being.

I think it's fake.

1- The style is too amateur. Gray background with black text? Not the way to keep your boss's attention.
2- The analysis of sales and market trends is too shallow. Reads like someone summarized IGN reviews and uses unprofessional idioms.
3- The conclusions based on (2) are not accurate in hindsight and don't support the direction SC has gone.

The whole presentation reads like it was written by a 16 year old who thinks he can explain the mind of Ubisoft. I could be wrong, but if so then Ubi needs to find better marketing department talent. They completely missed the mark on why sales were stagnant or declining with SCPT and SCCT and where they should take the genre in the future to reverse this trend.

So, they are either really dumb or it's fake. I think it's fake.

Btw: Hi.

The blink ability picks up the pace of the game considerably, since you don't have to follow an NPC at their speed plus 1 or 2 to strangle them.

Anyone pick up this game? The stealth-action pace is similar to the original Splinter Cell trilogy, except substitute an array of spells for Sam's high-tech gadgets.

The spells in the game give you a lot more freedom to maneuver throughout each mission, which gives the game a lot more replay value than SC. If you wanted to be stealthy in SC/PT/CT, you really were limited to only one route through the game. Plus, you aren't able to pick up every spell the first time through.

The only disappointing aspect I found with the game is that they muted Corvo rather than giving him a badass personality. I realize they did this to try to make the gamer immerse himself in the world, but it doesn't have that effect.

Discuss.

Wrong. I have a friend who is a woman and she is sexy and I did thought that I might fall in love with her but then again, I knew that our friendship could have broken and she really needs this friendship, just like I do. So we're friends. I assure you - it works!

I don't want to play against someone who's lagging massively.
I don't want to play a team game 1v1.
I don't want to play with a moron.

We're not going to play.

updated drivers, still no dice. Away from home now, but when I get back I'm going to take the bottom out and see if there's blockage in the exhaust for the fan. It doesn't feel like there's nearly enough airflow coming out of the side of my laptop with the fan running full-throttle.

At first I thought you were going to ask for advice following this story, and I was going to tell you that you're probably asking the wrong audience...

As far as your experience goes, sorry for your loss and all, but your story isn't all that detailed. I'm not sure what you want people to learn from it other than you got hurt and you're better now.

Most people end up feeling like you after a breakup because they feel like they've lost something they can't replace, when in reality that's not really true. Usually happens after the first serious relationship or when someone who doesn't ordinarilly "do well" with women finds a lady friend.

PS: Men and women can't be friends. Exes especially can't be friends. And the best thing you can do to get your ex to want you back is ignore her and move on with your life...all of a sudden you'll find some sort of facebook message/text message.
