Neo, I appreciate the idea of "just" having donations, but if 100 people donate, it's still only a drop in the bucket. I think I can expect about 200 euros in donations. It's just not worth the effort setting it up.

I hoped that the community could get 5000 euros together as a good start. 800 likes on FB, 200 newsletter subscriptions, 100 followers on twitter and some followers on indiedb. Then the media coverage could build on that. Now, of course the media were a big let down.

Based on the stats, the community got like a couple hundred euros together. I can't run a business on that.I'm disappointed at all levels. Things didn't go as planned, but given the financial situation of having 0 budget, there's not much else I could have done.

I'm not sure we'll use them again. Maybe we will, maybe we won't.

In practice it's stalled. We might put in a few  hours here and there over the next x months to maybe get a new kickstarter going.

Tha maps are only partially our bottleneck. Gameplay currently is, but we've had a lot of progress. Now we need to keep that up.

And that PS is stalled indefinitely.

Seeing as nothing is here, it looks like you want this thread to be deleted. I only do that for spam accounts, so I guess I'll lock this one. If you want it to be unlocked, please let me know. Thanks!

Public Discussion / Re: Min viable product

The MVP is basically the same as the other SAM games. Getting the basic gameplay done is the hardest. Mini-objectives are literally just subclassing the normal objectives and assigning them to another team. The hardest will probably be the Sound Wave Vision, but that's not harder than Motion Tracking would be.

We're not there yet. Also, we've added new updates, showing off new stuff in Unreal Engine 4.

I don't use UE4... yet.

On the point of gamma. I've just seen a nice vid which shows that Spies are really hard to see.

Good idea. I just posted something like it on the FB page.

Up till now, we've got 2 articles and 1 upcoming interview because of them. And tips for the KS page. The effect thusfar isn't what I expected of course...

Hi,

There are many gaming forums and communities on the internet. We'd like to get exposure, but I think making a new account for each of them only to post about PS is spammy.
I'd like you to make a post about PS and our Kickstarter if you already happen to have an account on these sites.
If you've done so, please post a link here so I can update the thread. If there are multiple boards/topics where PS would make sense, then multiple topics for PS are fine IMO.

UE4 can export to Linux, yes. Support is getting better.

September-ish.

It's an idea we've tought about before. It's farily straightforward to implement, but it will also need translation and so on and if we want to support community-made maps down the line, it's not feasible.

I think if you can bring this idea up when we start alpha-testing, it might get included :)
