In each map, the map maker should be able to define what the objective is.

Example: In Missile Strike, the objective should be to hack into a computer to open a huge door, then steal some documents, then either compromise the missle launch system or screw up the launch somehow.

It would make the game way less predictable, more fun, and a hell of a lot better looking. Better looking? Well, I can see a lot of sweet fiery explosions!

Thoughts? Possible? I think so, as long as there are models for stuff that we would be stealing, and different laptop models.

Since you can only have one "epoxy cam" shot at a time, what if there was a new gadget?

The diversion camera would not have gas, but would have other special features. It would have a sound option, which pings the reticle, and possibly makes some noise. It also can be used as a security system. What I mean, is that there could be multiple cams fired, and you can cycle through them.

I also suggest that you hear all of the audio around this camera. I am not sure how the epoxy cam would work, but I don't think it should transmit sound.

I was just thinking about the alarm snare. What if you could set an alarm snare, and trigger it remotely. It work work more like the sticky camera that way. You wouldn't have to use this, and could just use the default way.

Everytime I watch a spy elbow someone in the face, I always laugh a bit. The merc is shooting him, so he brings his arm up by his chest, parallel to the ground, and throws his elbow out. It doesn't look like a very effective move.

I think a punch would be a much cooler looking animation. The spy would turn his torso at a 45 degree angle, bend at the knees, and slightly at his back, bringing his forearm up, while the punching hand going down behind him. Then, he would begin turning his torso, swinging his arm, and raising his knees. It would be a kind of uppercut mixed with a right hook.

I think this would show off the spies training more. If the spies are very agile, they should be able to do moves in a very fluid motion, not the stiff elbow. Also, I think the hit would look very realistic, along with the merc stumbling off to the side.

Maybe this wouldn't look like something a professional would do? I am not sure. But I personally think it would look amazing.

If you are not a developer of this game, do not say we. It is so confusing for other people, me included, when everyone says, "Yes, we are adding this!" Developers have an official word, not regulars.

If you don't know for sure, or you have nothing to do with this mod, please, please, stop saying we.

BTW: I know, I am no mod, but I don't care. I thought this needed to happen, for the sake of my sanity.

Join Us / Blueprints (Autocad)

In my current job (I'm a teen, and I have a job! Go figure), I make maps of cities for telephone companies. This involves drawing in cables, streets, towns, houses, and everything else that a telephone company would need. This is basically a very large scale blueprint. I was thinking about what else these skills would be good for, and came to this conclusion.

Basically, mappers have two jobs.

1. Making a blue print, be it a drawing, photoshop, paint, or whatever other way you can make a blue print.

2. Making the map in 3D.

Basically, this means that mappers have to take twice as long, because thinking of ideas is hard, and making blueprints takes time, also.

I figured, hey, why not put each map for two people, effectively making process twice as fast (except for the first map). I can do a lot of 2D, but no 3D for now.

I can make special smart shapes for every object in the game that is on that certain map, which will certainly help the mappers.

What do you think?
