He means the "CT feel" gameplay wise rather than graphically. I assumed all the maps would play similarly to CT, seeing as thats what its being compared with, and I really hope they do.

Why not just make frags & GM innate gadgets for story mode? I don't see the point in making them 'selectable' gadgets because EVERYBODY takes them for story mode. This would leave the other 4 gadget slots open, which
means not all player will take the same old 'BP, Mines, Nades, Mask' or 'Traps, Mines, Nades, Mask' combo. Obviously some may say its too OP, mercs having so many gadgets, and may require some gadgets to be rethought or even new ones created, but it will certainly make the game more interesting.

I see no reason why they shouldn't be compulsory. The lakehouse map did look VERY dark, and I think mercs will have a hard enough time just patrolling as it is, so flares could come in useful here. I actually didn't mind the burn time, and brightness of the flare in CT, just that there were too many of them. Set it to three flares per life and it will force mercs to be more conservatory with them, and use them wisely. Could prove for some interesting gameplay.

From my understanding a dedicated server would be listed as one of the mods services, which means we arent allowed to pay for it, only donate.

We are not allowed to ask money for the game or its services (website, dedicated server) as long as the game is a mod for UT3. If we win a license, we can.

For now, we can only accept donations. Or sell T-shirts :P

I will be donating once the beta is released, not sure how often or whatever as I need some money for myself, but so long as you guys keep the patches / new levels coming I will be donating. Im not buying a T-shirt though, might aswell write geek on my forehead with a permanent marker :P.

Going to sound pretttttty gay, but a little paragraph or two on each of the devs would be nice. Maybe when you have a beta, a little story (in want for a better word) of how the mod started, how long it took, when it started, any difficulties you ran into, internal troubles (dev team, technical difficulties), external troubles (like Ubi threats, community etc), highlights of the project. You know like a story or report on everything. That would humour me and Im sure it would interest a lot of the other community (If not ban them, for they are ungrateful) ;].

I think everything else was mentioned in my previous post :].

Thing is, peoples thought process is all wrong.

The thought process of the average noob:

Cool new gadget Idea > Desperately trying to find ways they could implement there awesome gadget.

Instead of:

What things needs to be improved for PS > Cool new gadget Idea.

People also need to stop defending there own gadget ideas to death. It will save everybody a lot of time and seperate the wheat from the chaff.

Ok in bullet points:

You just posted a video with voice annotation, I posted a video from a film. Now I said that the character Brent was you, and if i dont know what you look like, what other reasoning would i have to saying that he is you? Your voice mayhap?
