oh, and sam's goggles are a bit weird, like they have a weird pixelated effect to them. Unlike the effect in Xbox. Oh, and my flashlight doesnt work in multiplayer. it just doesnt show up. How do i fix this game?

A lot of people play the game, even though they've got an 8*00. It's anoying not to be able to see the merc's torchlight, I know, but you just got to get used to it. If anything, it's not a bug in the game, but an issue with the videocard.

Well, I've downloaded all the maps, that have been uploaded to various pages on the net (pretty sure I didn't miss any), and I'll send you some, if you add me on xfire as: sorng (I'll be back home again on tuesday, where I've got my desktop (where all the maps are stored) insted of this laptop). But I'll recommend you to download MR. MIC's Mappack v5 from http://www.splintercellworld.com/index.php?pid=30502 (http://www.splintercellworld.com/index.php?pid=30502) first, since it contains all the most played maps in the multiplayer mode. You could also try out the French site called www.splintercellmaps.com (http://www.splintercellmaps.com), which has a bunch of the uploaded custom maps, though it can be pretty hard to use, if you don't speak the language. I think you need to make a profile on the site to download maps, but I'm not sure.
Btw, Death Valley, Squat and Deftech 2 are maps for Pandora Tomorrow and not for Chaos Theory. :)

Steel Squat is for CT, yes, and Squat is for PT. :) - as far as I know, the one for CT was an updated and much better version of the one from PT.

Yeah Rambo, I'm forced to Motion whore 50% of the time. Kind of sucks, but then again, kind of doesn't. ;)
what does suck about it is when you have only the torchlight avaible to you (some nubs do that. :/)

The 8800GT is a great card, should be able to run it on all highest settings no problem. I don't know the glitches that come up on the SP because I haven't played it on PC yet. Still, my computer runs Crysis on all Very High at pretty good resolutions at about 25-30 FPS no problem (I have the 8800GT).
7200 looks like low-end graphics. Anything under *700 is only meant for mid-end and budget systems.
I don't think you can run it at max.

Than buy a XBox 360, Splinter Cell CT is going to be a "new" Xbox Original game, but you would have to download ($$$) again. 8)

i played a really good game though on SCCT PC. Story, me merc, etc. fun stuff. i now like PC, depends on the people you play with.
It's funny that consoles are considered to be the child's gaming system and in my experience people are a lot more mature on xbox than PC. But I haven't played that much, especially not with the guys here. ;D
On a technical standpoint, xbox wins by a longshot. It's not even close. However, right now there are better players on PC.

CT is dying now too. I rarely see good people on, so it's normal that you get more whiny new kids. 1 year ago it was all medium-pro level.

My experience 90% of the time is that I get little whiny babies on the server or douche bag mid teens. Not saying all mid teens are douche bags, but the ones I see all the time are. Then there is lag. Loads of it, it's not my connection I can tell you that. Then there are glitches. I know it depends what server I play on and who I play with but seriously, the majority of servers are garbage filled with idiots. It's really strange that it's quite the opposite on xbox in my experience. I guess all the whiny kids moved onto shiny graphics games. I won't lie, I have also to some extent. ;D
