i was watching some videos of people who run on the streets and do backflips, crazy jumps and some other ninja/monkey moves.
since in CT spies can fall down like 50 feet and not break any bones, maybe it would look nicer if a rolling animation was added for falls higher than X altitude.
so what im saying is, if spy falls from (clubhouse) red lobby second floor to first floor, he rolls foward to break the jump.
maybe this can be an auto roll, or if you want you can incorporate it in the 'Q' button with a slightly different animation of the roll on the jumping situation.
the advantage would be that we wouldnt be doing the vision change bug to break falls; we would be actually breaking them with a cool looking roll. ill post a video later.

the "ninja shit" is called Parkour or Freerunning. And this has already been discussed.

thanks blankman , you finally did something right for once :) .. ya theres a guy named Blane
on here and he offered to do that kinda stuff , but motion capture is too costly.
hmm cool..
i would prefer it to not be an automatic animation, id prefer it to be controlled by a button; that way it dosent cause any unwanted rolls or problems etc.
and it would have to have some kind of timing "window of oportunity" so if you dont press the roll button an instant before your feet touch the ground for example, you get hurt.

i don't want to get technical, but that, sir, is FreeRunning, since it's full of crazy tricks and stunts.
Parkour is more about momentum and getting from point A to point B in the least time possible -- and that's where the difference resides (tricks and stunts take time ya know?).
i thought you guys might want to know this. now don't flame me just for giving out free information :P

That's why we have rotoscoping.
I created a topic about the same matter quite a while ago and i'd be all in for this. Just as long as it would be created so it won't be necessary to use but it'd be worth the try. Also if the animators have the time, different vaults would surely be welcome even without the as Robert said 'Window of Opportunity' movement.
