I am looking to get involved Unreal Modding, and would like to work with the new unreal engine. Project Stealth seems like just the group I have been looking for.
Hi Lizzor,
Thanks for your application.
We're looking into it and you should have an answer in approximately 4 days.

Holy Crap! A Fellow Full Sail Grad!
Anyway, your stuff looks great and you definitely have the skill we need. However, your role, if you came on would be mainly prop creation and wouldn't have much interaction with the Unreal Editor. Bout the most you would do is test your models and textures by importing them in the editor on your end, however the actual integration into a real map would be done by a Level Designer such as myself.
However, that doesn't mean you can't start your own level and if approved by the rest of us will become an official map, thus having all the other modelers make stuff for you.
My usual process is doing the layout and main architecture pieces for a map myself and having the modelers do things like chairs/terminals/tvs/vehicles etc etc.
Also, we will need you to do a test. Not a test of skill really, but a test of dedication. We've had a lot of good people join with promises of working hard, only to disappear without a word. This test is to prove that you are more then willing to spend the time working on PS.
The prop we need is pretty simple. Just an old Industrial water heater. Something that would be used in a big old building from like the 70s. It needs to be dirty, grimy and just plain filthy. Needs a Diffuse, Specular and Normal map, all at 1024x1024. Polygon limit shouldn't exceed 1000. Other then that, go wild.
If you wanna talk about specifics for the test and details about the map workflow or anything else, just hit me up on MSN, AIM or w/e.

Your portfolio is far above the average applicant and you appear to have a good experiential background.
That sounds great, I'll get to work on that asap. As far as not actually getting into the unreal engine, that's fine, modeling for it is good for me, though I can't say that I won't try my hand at level design in the future. Also, if you'd like to get in contact with me outside of email or forums.

I'm on most of the time.
Cheers,
Lizzor
Hey Lizzor,
We haven't heard from you since your last post. Have you been able to make the industrial water heater?
