Any idea if it is going to be linux compatible?

As far as I know, UE3 isnt supported on Linux (I could be wrong of course). Free graphics libraries with OpenGL or other APIs didn't have enough to offer, so we opted for this.

Every Unreal Engine has been linux compatible so far. I don't see why UT07 wouldn't be. If it is, we will try and make it linux compatible. No promises though.

Linux sucks anyway,i've just spent the last 2 weeks of my life trying to 'get into' it, only to realize its overrated, overly complicated piece of ass.

The page (http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html/technology/ue30.shtml) is very odd. It says stuff in the audio and networking sections that support cross-platform but the first sentence says:

Quote
Unreal Engine 3 is a complete game development framework for next-generation consoles and DirectX9-equipped PCs, providing the vast array of core technologies, content creation tools, and support infrastructure required by top game developers.

If it doesn't support it, we can't change that.

We'll find out i guess ;) it would be just easier for me so I wouldn't have to restart to play it I could just stay on linux.
