Question:
Does this idea need testing?
Option 1: Yes

Option 2: Vega sucks
votes: 14
So guys, I was thinking, right, and I don't think it's very realistic that spies can run everywhere and do all jumps and dives and everything and never fall over. I mean, if you tried all that in real life after being shot like ten times you wouldn't do everything perfectly, right? So spies should randomly fall over, like after they get charged. To make things more realistic.
This is what happens in Smash Brothers, and Smash Brothers is a popular game, so therefore it's perfect. Right?
So can we go test this brilliant idea? Because I think it's pretty brilliant.
ps if you don't like this idea you're a terrorist fuck who hates change and you're making this forum terrible so like it okay :(
pps clumsy girls are totally moe so there's another reason to implement this okay cool
These forums really need something new to talk about...
You're part of the production team. GIVE US WHAT YOU HAVE PRODUCED!!
It's a secret though. ;)
Bad idea. You may as well re-introduce the random bugs and glitches from CT. If I roll, I want to roll, not think I might trip and have a random element lose my spy-life and round.

We should test it anyway. Testing is very good.
I voted "Vega sucks" just because I can vote it. Harhar.

Is the girl turning clockwise or counterclockwise? >: )
hey um I have a better idea! lets give mercs UBER RAY vision, that way if they see a spy pass by or coming towards them they are cooked instantaneously by the radiation emmited through the mercs' eyes!
that way spies learn to get skills and learn that they must remain unseen at all times!!! niice im so pro i will never die from merc UBER RAY vision !! wooo AMAZING!
No TESTING required because it is amazing
FUCK TESTING
TESTING IS FOR FAGOTS!
roberto is being mean to me

I do not see how that girl could possibly be turning counter clockwise.

I'm in agreement here. Anyway, Robert, the more I read your posts the more I see that you're a terrorist fuck sent here from ubisoft to destroy PS. We have our contacts so stop lying, you've been caught.

Protip.
Look at the base of her inner foot. When it's spinning around just think to yourself "okay when it next emerges from behind her leg, it will be close to me - spinning away instead of far from me and spinning toward" it will take a few times before you see it but eventually the foot will spin the other way. Then look up at her and her entire body is going the other way as well. ;)
(it also might help if you unfocus your eyes a little, sometimes you find you get distracted by the other leg moving in the direction you're trying to convince yourself it's not going in :P )
Or, hax

It isn't a good idea.
It removes any chance of competitive play(serious competitive play, that is, which any type of competition usually is), it removes an amount of fun from the spy side, knowing that your hit and run technique might not work BECAUSE OH MY GOD YOU MIGHT TRY AND THEY'LL HAVE AN EASY SHOT.
The only way I can think of to balance this and make this an option is too have the merc's weapons malfunction, explode, and kill him every once and a while.
Even then it's a terrible idea.
VenomousNinja, he's being sarcastic. He's a douche. Don't worry about it man.
Mark + execute
that is all
We should test it, monterto. M+E could really work in PS.

No No No. Mark and execute is one of the biggest downfalls in Splinter Cell Conviction. It makes the gameplay feel automated without feeling any glory for your actions. All you do is put a mark on the guy and then press a button whenever you want and it just kills him. No real skill or fun involved. It should be a free game without the computer itself doing the work for you because a lot of doors of opportunity are closed with this.

Err, no, that's not how game development works. If an idea is bad, no one tests it, if it's good, then it gets tested, and rejudged.
Maybe we should test testing everything.
I just noticed that the preliminary result of the poll is that Vega sucks.

Curdy, he was joking. No one likes M+E.
But maybe we should test to double check.
...iiiii think that everybody needs to get their sarcasm detectors fixed. Or maybe you never bought one? Now is the time. Works wonders.

I must be miaunderstanding the original topic. But what you're saying is that we should have the spies give the merc an eigth ofmushrooms and watch him run around with a gun...Would be interesting.
I don't think you should just randomly fall over, but if u get charged and get back up, maybe ur vision could be blurry for alittle while and u have to find a safe place to sit and let ur dizzyness go away
How much longer will this lack of sarcasm detection persist?
