Title: Less is more?
Post by: DreadStunLock on October 16, 2010, 02:06:15 PM
Hey, I was wondering would it be balanced to have an option to blank an equipment slot? For example if you blank an equipment slot you get bonus to speed since you lose weight, and that could also affect the duration of how long the spy is going to be on a ground from a charge (assuming since his lighter the hit is going to be less powerfull, but faster) and it could affect the sniping, like adding less shaking, and adding a 2% maybe bonus to speed?

I am thinking of that cause in alot of the cases in some maps some equipment are obsolete and not needed for 4 slots.

Same thing could go for spies? But for a spy to blank an equipment is nearly never going to happen unless he has his own way of style playing, but mercenaries do not rely on equipment as heavily as spies do.

Any opinions hmm? (KNOOGER IF YOU MENTION COD4 I WILL RIP YOUR HEART OUT)

That sounds like an interesting idea, as long as the benefits were balanced with the risks of removing equipment slots. Would be quite fun to try playing a match without any equipment but all the benefits and see how things go :P
