Title: Mac Support?
Post by: DoogleBoy on October 28, 2010, 02:46:38 PM
Any chance of Mac support being available at launch? I really need something to replace Chaos Theory since the old Xbox Live got shut down, and this looks really promising.

Cheers.

Hi,

We can only be on the platforms that the UDK runs on. That means Windows-only for now. In the future, maybe iOS and Android too, but that's still uncertain.

If UDK becomes available for Mac, we'll definitely look into Mac support. For now, you'll have to run Windows in a virtual machine or use dual-boot.

(And CT didn't have Mac support either as far as I know?)

Thanks,

frvge

Wow. Thanks for the quick reply.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to dual-boot if that's the only option. No matter what I must play this game!

VM's barely run old 3D games with the latest 3D Hardware Accelaration techniques, let alone UDK :P

I doubt I'll use a VM, I'll boot up the machine into Windows.
